"Wouldn't that be so cruel, Hee?" Hyunjin said while looking at Dahee.
"Let me ask you something"
"Can you wait for me?" Hyunjin asked
"Yes, I can" Dahee answered
"Will you wait for me?" Hyunjin asked another question
"Yes, I will" Hyunjin smiled at the younger's answer.

"Where are we going?" Ryujin asked, it's just 4 in the morning and the two of them decided to go out because they can't sleep.
"I don't know" Hyunjin answered and kick the sand.
"You have something to tell me yesterday, right? What is it?" Ryujin asked and Hyunjin stopped momentarily.
"We promised to each other that no secrets, right?" Hyunjin said and Ryujin nodded. Hyunjin heave a sigh and look straight at her bestfriend's eyes.
"I like Heejin" she said and there was a silence after that. They were just staring at each other.
"You stupid ass motherfucker" Ryujin said and her fist landed on Hyunjin's face. Hyunjin can feel her lips bleeding but she doesn't care. She didn't even fight back cuz she knows that she deserves it.
"Since when?" the younger girl asked
"Since the first day of high school" Hyunjin answered truthfully
"And you told me about it just now? What the fuck, Hyun" Ryujin grab Hyunjin's collar
"I'm sorry" Hyunjin keep her head low
"Why did you fucking keep it for 4 years?"
"I'm afraid that it'll destroy the friendship that we have"
"Why are you so stupid, Hyun?" Ryujin let go of Hyunjin's collar and she push her gently.
"You should've told me earlier! If you just told me about how you feel for Heejin I would've just stay at LA and marry Julia... Hyun, I'm always willing to give up on everything if it's you" Ryujin said and Hyunjin look at her.
"You know why I didn't tell you?" Hyunjin asked and Ryujin just stare at her.
"Because I can see so much happiness in your eyes whenever you're with her and I don't want to take your happiness away, Ryu" the older said
"Does she know?" Ryujin asked and Hyunjin shake her head.
"Are you planning to tell her?" she asked while looking at her best friend but the girl kept quiet.
"Tell her" Ryujin said
"You want me to tell her that I like her?" Ryujin nodded
"Yeah... and if she likes you too..... then you can have her. I won't be mad or anything. I guess I will just go back to LA"
Hyunjin stares at her and chuckles.
"Stupid. Why would you go back there?" Hyunjin said and sat on the sand.
"She don't like me..."
"How can she like me when she's madly in love with you?" Hyunjin held in her tears but her eyes betrayed her. Her tears started falling down to her cheeks
"If she does like me then she would've figured out that I like her so much" Hyunjin sniffs and wipe her tears.
"I swear I tried to stop this stupid feelings for her but damn... she's just so down to earth that I can't help but to fall" she chuckled as she cries.
"I'm sorry, Ryu. I'm sorry"
Ryujin sat beside her and look at her.
"Why are you apologising? You're a human too... You can't control your feelings" she said and pat Hyunjin's back. Hyunjin's cry got louder and Ryujin laughs at her.
"Fuck you. Don't laugh at me" Hyunjin said and wipe her unending tears. Ryujin hands her a handkerchief as she keep laughing at her bestie.
