Demi's POV

"Please be careful girls, I will pick you guys up at ten pm okay?" I say as I pull into the new arcade parking lot.

"We will be fine Mom." Bella answers and I nod.

"Okay, just answer me if I call you." I tell her and she nods.

"I will! Love you!" She says as she gets out of the car followed by Olivia and Sophia.

"Love you too!" I reply as the door closes and I watch them all walk into the arcade together. I take a deep breath before driving out of the parking lot and over to Matthews house. I'm meeting him and Sirah there so we can have a night together. By the time I get there, the pizza is already there so I greet them both before getting comfortable on the couch.

"So, Sirah told me you have a new man." Matthew says and I roll my eyes and glare over at her.

"I do not have a new man." I mumble as I take a bite of my pizza.

"Uh huh. So who even is this guy?" He asks and I sigh.

"He came into the diner last week and we are just getting to know each other." I answer and they both smile big.

"He's hot too." Sirah says and I chuckle while shaking my head.

"What does he look like?" Matthew asks.

"He's tall, light skinned, blue eyes." Sirah answers.

"You don't have a picture?" Matthew asks me and I laugh.

"I just met the guy. I'm not going to take pictures of him." I say laughing.

"Damn, I guess that means I have to go to the diner next time he's there." He says and I roll my eyes.

"I'll text you next time he's there." Sirah tells him.

"So what does he do?" Matthew asks me.

"He's a doctor." I reply smiling down at my plate.

"Ooooh... so he's got money and a career." Matthew says smirking and I chuckle.

"Shut up." I say laughing before we change subjects then put on a movie. I check in on Bella here and there, but I try not to bother her too much. At around 9:45 am, I decide to leave and go pick up the girls. When I get there, I park exactly where I was when I dropped them off and I call Bella to let her know I'm here. She didn't answer though which is very unusual for her. She always answers. I try not to freak out though and I call her once more only for it to go to voicemail. Luckily I have Olivia and Sophias number as well, so I call Olivia and she thankfully answers.

"Please don't freak out." She says as soon as the line connects.

"Telling me not to freak out is going to make me freak out. What happened?" I ask turning off the car.

"There were a few kids from school that were here and they started bothering us. They started picking on Bella and started hitting her. She's really hurt." She says and I can tell she's upset. I immediately rush out of my car and walk into the arcade.

"I'm coming in. Where are you?" I ask as I storm past the workers.

"The bathroom. They're in the back." She says and I nod. I then hang up and go to the bathrooms. When I open the door, I see the three girls standing by the sink and Bella has a busted lip and her shirt is ripped.

"Oh my god." I mumble rushing over to her. "What happened sweetie?" I ask her as I examine the rest of her body.

"These guys were bothering us and then a couple girls came over also. They were just being rude. One of the guys grabbed her when she went to walk away and ripped her shirt. A girl then punched her and I don't know why." Sophia answers and I shake my head as tears fill my eyes.
