Demi's POV

I was released from the hospital a couple days after I gave birth, but Layla had to stay because she was still too little. Jesse and I go to see her everyday though and stay throughout the day until we have to leave at night. It was weird to not be pregnant anymore and not have your baby with you at home. So, two weeks later when the doctors said that she weighed enough to go home, I was ecstatic. When we got to the hospital, we walked down to her room that she's been staying in and I smile big as soon as I see my beautiful girl in a nurses arms.

"And here's mommy and daddy." The nurse says as she passes me to her and I smile as I bend down to kiss her. "I will be right back with paperwork and her birth certificate to fill out." The nurse says and I nod. She then walks out of the room and I sit down on the chair as Jesse hovers over me and runs his finger over her cheek.

"We still need a middle name baby." He says and I nod.

"I really liked Charlotte and Evelyn for her middle name." I say since Jesse and I have constantly been thinking about a middle name since we decided to go with Layla for her first name.

"I think Layla Charlotte Williams has a nice ring to it. Evelyn is really pretty too though." He replies and I smile big and chuckle.

"What do you think baby girl. Charlotte? Or Evelyn?" I ask even if I know she won't respond. "Let's call Bella and see what she likes more. She can be the deciding vote because I can't chose." I then say and he chuckles and nods as he grabs my phone out of my purse and calls Bella. He puts it on speaker and holds it out so we can both hear.

"Hey! You at the hospital?" She asks after only two rings.

"Mmhmm. We're trying to decide her middle name right now and we can't decide between Charlotte or Evelyn. What do you like more?" I ask her and I hear her giggle.

"I like Charlotte. I think that's super cute!" She answers and I smile and nod. Layla Charlotte it is. "Jack likes Charlotte also." She says and I nod. She actually went to his house today and she will be coming home later after we've settled in with Layla.

"Charlotte it is then. We're gonna let you go because we have to sign her birth certificate and stuff. I'll see you later sweetie. Love you." I say.

"Alright. Love you too!" She says and then we hang up. It didn't take long for the nurse to come back in the room and we quickly filled out her birth certificate and signed it.

"Alright, you guys are all set. I'm just going to help you with the car seat because she also needs to pass the car seat check, I'm sure she will though." She says and we both nod. Jesse takes her from me and walks over to her car seat and gets her all buckled in with the nurse.

"Hey, I'm just gonna go talk to Bryan real quick about my time off." Jesse says and I nod as he kisses my cheek.

"Okay, we will wait here then." I reply and he nods and leaves the room with the nurse since Layla was all buckled in. "You excited to go home baby girl?" I ask as her eyes flutter open and I smile big at her beautiful blue eyes. "You're so pretty princess. Mommy loves you so so much." I say bending down to kiss her forehead. After about ten minutes when Jesse wasn't back up here I was kinda getting impatient. When the door finally opened though, I saw Bryan and not Jesse.

"Looks like you guys are heading home. Congratulations Demi, she's beautiful." He says and I smile.

"Thank you. Jesse isn't up here yet?" I ask and he furrows his brows.

"Uh, I don't know. Haven't seen him all day." He says and now I'm even more confused.

"He just said he was going to talk to you like ten minutes ago." I say and he shakes his head.
