Demi's POV

Jesse and I haven't been able to see each other since the diner last week, and although we FaceTime and talk when we can, I do miss him. He's just been really busy at the hospital and I can tell it's taking a toll on him because of that little boy who came in with a brain tumor just like his son. Today though, I know he had the day off so when I got off from work, I decided to head to his house so we can eat dinner together. He doesn't know I'm coming over yet, but I figured I could just make him some food and watch a movie together. Bella isn't grounded anymore so tonight I let her go to Sophia's house so she can sleep over. I guess Olivia and her are good again so they will all be hanging out tonight. When I pull up to Jesse's house, I grab the two bag of groceries and walk up to his door. I knock on the door and after a couple minutes, it opens up and I see Jesse standing there in just sweatpants and no shirt. Fuck, he is so hot.

"Hey beautiful. What are you doing here?" He asks letting me in and taking my purse from me and setting it down.

"I missed you and know you've had really long and stressful days. I brought groceries so I can make us dinner." I say holding up the bags and he smiles big.

"You are seriously so amazing." He says and I smile. He then grabs a sweatshirt off his couch and throws it on. I was kind of disappointed to be honest.

"I know." I reply smirking and he laughs before leading me to the kitchen.

"Need any help?" He asks after he showed me where everything is at and I shake my head.

"Nope, just relax." I say shoving him slightly on the stool behind the island and he laughs.

"Yes ma'am." He says and I raise my brows at him as I pull the food out of the bags.

"Don't call me that." I say and he laughs harder.

"What do you want me to call you then? Baby? Love?" He asks and I blush a deep shade of red as I turn the other way to grab a pan.

"I don't care." I reply as I smile big.

"How about both then?" He asks and I nod with a smile.

"I'm okay with that." I say turning to face him again to see a large smile on his face.

"So, where's Isabella tonight?" He then asks.

"At her friends house. She isn't grounded anymore so I let her go. It worked out though because I was able to come here without her disapproving." I say and he chuckles.

"Still doesn't like me, huh?" He asks and I shrug as I start chopping some vegetables.

"She said she was gonna try when I properly introduced you two. It's just always been us and I know it's hard to bring someone in the middle of that." I say and he nods.

"I understand. I will never get in the middle of you two though. She will always come first for you and I completely understand and respect that." He says and I smile big as my heart skips a beat.

"That means a lot Jesse. People that I've dated before always expected to be put first and that's not the case. My daughter will always come first." I say and he nods.

"I will never be expected to be put before your daughter just like I would have never put anymore before my son." He says and I smile and nod.

"What was his name?" I eventually ask.

"Noah." He answers and I smile.

"I love that name. It's so cute." I say and he nods. He then goes on his phone and after a couple minutes, he stands up and walks around the counter to show me his phone. I see a picture of him and his little boy and I smile even bigger.
