Demi's POV

"So I was thinking." Jesse starts as he rubs my feet while we both sit in his living room and watch a movie.

"What were you thinking?" I ask as I take a sip of my tea. Bella is actually at Sophia's house tonight for a school project so I came to Jesse's house to spend the night.

"I remember you telling me that your lease for your house is up next month and you were debating if you want to sign another one or move in to another place." He says and I nod.

"Mmhmm." I hum my response.

"How would you feel about you moving in here with Bella?" He eventually asks and I raise my brows. I don't really know what to say. I knew this talk would happen soon, but I definitely wasn't expecting it this soon.

"I don't know." I breathe out and he nods looking down. "Not that I wouldn't love to fall asleep with you every night, it's just a big transition. Especially for Bella. It's always just been us two you know?" I then continue since he seemed a little disappointed.

"I understand." He replies softly and I sigh heavily.

"I'll think about it and I'm going to talk to Bella. It doesn't really make sense to sign another lease that I will be stuck to for an x amount of time, but I just don't know if all living under one roof is a good idea. I mean we would probably never get to be intimate since Bella will always be around and I wouldn't want to make her uncomfortable." I tell him and he nods finally turning to look at me.

"Well we're all gonna have to live together eventually. We are getting married and possibly going to have kids." He says and I nod.

"I know baby. I just don't want to speed things up any faster then we already have. I mean, we've already broken up once. Who's to say that if we move in and then something happens and I have to leave? This isn't my house. I wouldn't have anywhere to go." I explain as I pull my legs off his lap and sit up straight on the couch.

"Nice to know you have a lot of confidence in us." He mumbles and I sigh heavily as he looks straight ahead instead of at me.

"I do have confidence in us. But I had confidence in us before and then you cheated on me." I reply and I instantly regret it as soon as it left my mouth.

"Are you going to constantly bring that up?" He ask annoyed as he stands up.

"This is the first time I brought it up. I'm just trying to get you to see my side of things. If it were the other way around and you walked in on me and Anthony kissing you would feel the same way." I explain even if I would never get caught dead kissing Anthony ever again.

"I wouldn't be throwing it back in your face Demi. You gave me another chance for a reason so I don't even understand why you're bringing it up again." He says running his hand down his face and I take a deep breath.

"I'm not throwing anything in your face. All I was saying is I had trust in us before and then something happened. Who's to say something like that won't happen again?" I ask standing up myself now as I place my mug of tea down on the coffee table.

"So you're saying you don't have trust in us? In me?" He asks turning to face me quickly and I groan.

"Stop twisting my words! I do trust you, but I don't know what the future holds. I don't know if we're going to break up next month or ten years from now." I say raising my voice in the beginning but quickly quieting down because I do not want this to escalate.

"I asked you to marry me for a reason Demi. I saw my future with you. I wanted you as my wife and I wanted to be a family with you and Bella. I wanted more kids. I don't have a single doubt about us because I love you. Because I would do anything in my power to make sure that we will always be a family. It's clear that you don't feel the same and that you clearly have doubts about us even if you can't admit it." He responds and I shake my head. "I think you should just leave. I'm tired." He then says before I can even get a response in.
