Demi's POV

"Hey, relax baby." Jesse says placing a hand on my thigh ultimately stopping my leg from bouncing up and down.

"I'm nervous." I mumble looking out the window as we turn into a neighborhood which just makes me that more anxious. It is now the next weekend and we are driving to his parents house right now so I can meet them and his brother.

"Don't be. They will love you." He replies and I sigh heavily.

"And what if they don't? I was a teen mom, I make little to no money compared to you. What if they see me as I'm just using you?" I ramble off and he chuckles making me glare at him.

"I'm sorry baby. Just calm down. My family will love you. They already do." He says as we pull in front of a house and I take a deep breath.

"Promise?" I ask and he smiles turning his car off.

"I promise. I love you baby." He replies and I smile leaning over to kiss him.

"I love you too." I respond as we pull away. We then get out of the car and he walks over to my side and opens the door for me. Bella is actually at Sophia's house tonight and then tomorrow we are all gonna go to my parents house so Jesse can be properly introduced. Once we get up to the door, Jesse gives my hand a small squeeze and kisses my forehead before he opens the door and we walk in. I feel my heart race as we step in and I hear the laughs of his family. He leads me all the way until we make it into the kitchen.

"Oh handsome boy!" An older woman says as soon as her eyes land on us.

"Mom." He groans as the lady wraps her arms around him and I gently pull my hand from his so he can wrap his arms around her.

"And you must be Demi. My son does not shut up about you." The lady then says facing me and I blush lightly.

"All good things I hope." I say and she nods.

"Always. My name is Johanna." She says before wrapping her arms around me in a comforting hug. I smile at Jesse over my shoulder before we pull away.

"And my name is Regi." His dad introduces holding his hand out and I gently place mine in his as he shakes it.

"And this is my annoying little brother Matt." Jesse says wrapping his arm around his brothers neck and I chuckle.

"It's nice to meet you all." I say and they nod.

"You as well. It's about time Jesse brought you by. I almost thought I was just gonna have to pop by his house and hope you were there so I could finally meet you." Johanna says and I laugh. The food was ready already so we all got our food before sitting around the table.

"So you have a daughter right? Jesse's mentioned her before." Regi asks and I smile and nod.

"I do. She's fourteen and currently at a friends house because apparently she's too cool for me anymore." I reply and everyone chuckles.

"So you had her young, right?" Johanna asks and I nervously nod.

"Uh yeah. I was sixteen." I reply looking down slightly, but I feel Jesse place his hand on my thigh and squeeze slightly to give me some encouragement.

"I was seventeen when I had Jesse." She responds and I look up quickly.

"Really? I didn't know that." I say feeling a lot better.

"Yeah. It was really hard and I'm sure you would understand. Luckily I had Regi who stayed by my side through it all." She says and I smile.

"Wish I could say the same. Bella's dad left the second I told him I was pregnant. At first I didn't mind because I had planned on giving her up for adoption. I changed my mind the second she was placed on my chest though and my dad kind of threatened him to help out. It was never real, but I was just thankful I had my family that stuck by my side and supported me." I explain and she nods.
