Two Pieces (Demi Lovato and Jesse Williams)

Time Skip: 1 month

Demi's POV

"I think we need to tell Bella." Jesse says as he lightly caresses my slightly bloated stomach as we lay against each other on the bed. We just got back from our twelve week appointment and we are now watching a movie because Bella doesn't get home from school for another couple hours.

"No." I mumble back and I hear him sigh heavily.

"Demi, she needs to know. She's going to be a lot more upset if we keep this from her any longer." He says and I take a deep breath.

"She's going to be mad either way." I say glancing up at him.

"Then what's stopping you from telling her now? She deserves to know that she's going to have a baby brother or sister." He replies and I close my eyes and sigh.

"I know." I say quietly. "I don't want her to think that I will forget about her though." I continue opening my eyes again and be gives me a small smile. "Everything is moving so fast for her. Her mom started dating somebody, they broke up, then they were engaged, moved in together, and now they're having a baby. All of that in a span of like seven months." I then say.

"I understand that, but what is not telling her going to do?" He asks and I bite my lip as I look down at his hand that is still resting on my stomach.

"You're right." I mumble as I place my hand on top of his and start tracing his veins. "Fine. We can tell her before you go into work tonight." I eventually agree looking back up at him and he smiles before bending down to kiss me softly. Before I know it, Bella was walking through the front door. Jack actually drove her home from school today so I didn't have to go out and get her.

"Hey, can you come in the kitchen real quick?" I ask Bella after I had greeted her and she nods setting her bag down before following me into the kitchen where Jesse is already waiting and packing his lunch for work tonight. It won't be much of a lunch, so he just really packs a few granola bars. I nervously play with my fingers as I move to Jesse's side and Bella sits down on the stool across from us.

"What's up?" She asks and I sigh looking up at Jesse and he gives me an encouraging smile.

"Um.. I uhh." I stutter but I clamp my mouth shut not knowing how to tell her.

"Mom." She says tilting her head to the side and I take a deep breath.

"I'm pregnant." I blurt out. I see her eyes widen as they drift down to my stomach then to Jesse them back to my eyes.

"What?" She whispers out and I sigh heavily.

"You're gonna have a brother or sister." Jesse speaks up. I bite my lip as I look at her nervously to see a reaction, but I don't really see one.

"Ridiculous." She mumbles before standing up quickly and storming out of the kitchen and probably up to her room. I let out a sigh of defeat as my shoulders slump. As Jesse goes to wrap an arm around me, I walk away and follow her upstairs.

"Bella." I start as I open her door.

"Go away." She mumbles and I sigh.

"No, we need to talk." I reply and she rolls her eyes.

"I don't want to." She says before walking into her bathroom that attaches to her room and closing and locking the door. I sigh once more when I hear her shower start. I walk out of her room and see Jesse leaning against the wall by the staircase.

"I knew she would be mad." I mumble as I walk past him and into our room.

"She needed to know baby." He says following me in the room.
