Sonic Boom Season 3

Mainland Mayhem

(During roughly around noon on the mainland)

(Sonic, Niki, and the mainland girls are chatting in a semi circle)

Bunnie: We called you both here cause there's been a bit of robbin' goin' on at night.

Sonic: So you want us to do a steak out?

Sally: We would do it except since that last fiasco with Berman, father wants me to visit and see if I can't help with anything. I also told Bunnie and Nicole that they were coming with.

Bunnie: (blunt) Don't exactly have a choice, with her.

Sonic: Okay then. Well since we're here. I guess we have no choice but to stay.

Sally: Exactly. (Pats Sonic on the head and walks off)

(It hits night)

(Both Sonic and Niki are leaning against the wooden pillars in front of the house)

Niki: Ugh! I'm so tired!

Sonic: Sally asked us to do this. Once we find out who the night thief is, we can call it a night.

(Both of them then hear a collision of some kind that sounded like wooden crates falling)

(Both of them look at each other and Sonic signals to go take a look. Niki nods in response and the cautiously make their way towards the noise)

(The get to the area that made the noise and are behind the section of wooden crates that got knocked over)

Sonic: (whisper like) I think they got away.

Niki: (also whisper like) How though? We got here mere seconds after we heard the crash. Unless they are hiding to where we can't see them.

(They heard another noise that resembled a pop/soda can being kicked)

(They look towards the direction of the noise and see objects... Floating?)

Niki: (gets up and almost goes after the invisible person) Hey!

(The invisible person then drops the stuff and runs)

Niki: (a growl ugh) Now we can't see them!

(After a few minutes, they walk towards the scenery)

Niki: (looks around at the ground) Well, they didn't leave any traceable footprints.

Sonic: (kicking one of the many objects that the theif dropped) And they probably dropped their stuff knowing we wouldn't be able to go after them.

Niki: They know how to play smart. The thing is though, they may play invisibility, but, they won't be able to get passed infrared scopes.

Sonic: (blunt) So basically, night vision except it turned to infrared.

Niki: Exactly! Tomorrow morning we need to get some and then I can use Nicole's shop to tweak them to have infrared vision.

Sonic: Well, we better get to bed then. We tried catching them tonight, but failed. (Walks past Niki)

(The next day)

(At Nicole's workshop which is the whole area where she was making and selling random made inventions)

Niki: This might take me a while.

Sonic I thought you knew what you were doing?

Niki: I do know what I'm doing. Just to get the proper lensing is going to be a pain to match the infrared criteria. I'm definitely going to need lots of welding materials.
