Scales Beyond Two Snakes

(During mid-day in the forest)

(Lyric is just slithering by, looking for parts for new robots)

(Off another section of forest, Curso is rambling about his mother)

Curso: I can't believe mother! She's always blaming me for things! Maybe if I did something that would make her like me, I wouldn't be tarnished and thrown out constantly. Oh, Curso you're a genius. (Runs into something metal). What in the-?

(It's Lyric's claw tail)

(Curso slithers into the middle of the tail claw and gets raised to Lyric's face)

Lyric: Well, I didn't expect to have a distant cousin come to me.

Curso: I wouldn't necessarily say distant cousin.

Lyric: (curiously) You can speak?

Curso: By the way I like this outfit you have. Made out of lithium or is that polyester metal?

Lyric: Before I answer your questions, who are you?

Curso: Names Curso, and yours?

Lyric: It's Lyric. Now what kind of snake are you?

Curso: Hey, you didn't answer my questions!

Lyric: (rolls eyes) Yes poly metal.

Curso: Socrate. We're known as a (attempts with his tail) "modern" Ancients. That would've been a lot easier if I had two tails.

Lyric: (saying out loud but goes to inner thoughts) So Queen Selda is still alive?

Curso: Oh, you mean my mother, Bleh. She always sees me as disappointment.

Lyric: Mother? How many children does she have?

Curso: A sister and I. My sister's name is Felicy. (Rolls eyes) She's supposedly the next in line and not me.

Lyric: (Chuckles evilly) I say let's go pay your mother a visit.

(A few minutes later)

(The small entrance to the snakes ruins got blasted by Lyric, all the snakes slithered to safety in scarce)

(Queen Selda woke up to the blast and immediately came out of shadows)

Selda: What is going on here?

(As soon as the smoke evaporates Selda can see the outline of Lyric, making her go into a defense mode)

Selda: What are you doing here?

Lyric: (slithers to the center) Nice to see you too Selda. A lovely place you have. And before you ask how I know about you even still being alive. (Shows Curso on his tail claw)

Selda: (worried) Curso?

(Curso gives a sad look when he just realized what he did was wrong)

Selda: (shakes off the thought and angered) Why are you here?

Lyric: (slithers towards Selda) To offer you a hand.
