Breakdance

(During mid day in village center)

(There is a large crowd with many signs staked in the ground that say "Breakdance Battle! Winner gets $100")

(Jeffery and Niki are walking about village center when they spotted the crowd)

(Both of them decided to go check it out)

Niki: (reads one of the signs) Breakdance Battle. Winner gets 100 bucks. (Under breath) Behold the breakdance queen.

Jeffery: Can you even breakdance?

Niki: (scoffs and proudly) Are you questioning my ability here, good sir?

Jeffery: I'm not questioning any ability. I've just never seen you breakdance.

Niki: (bluntly) Well, I can.

Jeffery: But are you sure you wanna compete, with all the 'ahem' adults?

Niki: Uh yeah. I can show these losers up without a second thought.

Jeffery: Very slang-y for a 12 year old.

Niki: Very bossy for a 12 year old.

Jeffery: (attempts to say something but then stops) You know what? I'm not gonna get slapped today.

Niki: Or?

Jeffery: Or get my beak mounted on a wall.

Niki: Or?

Jeffery: (rolls eyes) Or have my eyeballs gouged out and shoved down my beak?

Niki: Good.

Jeffery: Why are you so violent?!

Niki: Why are you so stingy?

Jeffery: Not gonna repeat this route.

Niki: Hey, You're stuck with me, hun. I'm your problem now.

Jeffery: (slouched) I've already gathered that since we've started dating.

(Niki gives a sweet sadistic smile)

Jeffery: (with a disgruntled look) Why are you like this to me?

(Niki digs herself closer to the crowd until someone cat called her with whistling)

(The screen veers over to the person)

(And that person is Nigel)

Nigel: Didn't expect the savory queen to be here.

Niki: I'm gonna kill you! (Lashes out at Nigel)

Jeffery: (grabs Niki's arms to stop her) It's not worth it, Niki!

(Niki calms down with an angry look)

Jeffery: What do you want Nigel?

Nigel: I just figured that this would be a good place for Niki to be around and so why not be on search for the lovely lady. (Presents Niki)
