Let the Dark Arise Part 1

(Sometime during the day at the underground Temple)

(In the distance you can see the purple light throbbing slowly and as you approach on Mephiles's chamber, he opens his eyes in an evil manner and then the scene quickly changes to the next day at Niki's house)

(Niki slowly wakes up to grab her crystal on the nightstand, but it isn't there when she sits up)

(Niki then screams so high-pitched and loud it woke up Elizabeth who almost jumped out of bed)

Niki: (rolls of the bed to look under the bed and panicked) No, no, no, no. It's gotta be here somewhere. (Starts darting through the rest of the house)

Elizabeth: (heading towards the staircase while rubbing her eyes) What's all the commotion about?

Niki: (as she darts past Elizabeth) It's gotta be here somewhere!

Elizabeth: (Everytime she passes by) Niki... Niki. Niki!

(Niki stops in front of her mother)

Elizabeth: What is going on?

Niki: (still panicked and fast paced) I lost the crystal and I can't find it and-

Elizabeth: (puts both hands on Niki's shoulders to stop rambling) Chill out, sweetie. (Kneels down and puts her hand underneath Niki's chin) Now without going on a ramble, tell me why you're freaking out.

Niki: (takes a deep breath and calmly while almost crying) I lost the crystal and I can't find it and (starts crying) I'm afraid it's gonna happen again.

Elizabeth: Awe honey... (Hugs her) I bet you will find it sooner or later. Ok?

(Niki just nods while her crying slowed down)

Elizabeth: (calmly) Now, let's see if we can both find it, ok?

(Niki again just nods)

(Both of them walk towards Niki's room)

(About an hour later)

(Niki is with the team at Tails' workshop still upset, but not crying)

Sonic: What's the matter?

Niki: (quietly and arms crossed) Why don't you look?

(Tails and Sonic just look at each other confused)

Sonic: Um.. Did you and Jeffery break up?

(Niki just slowly shakes her head)

Amy: I can already tell.

Sonic: Then why don't you say it?

Amy: Nah, just waiting for one of you to realize.

Sonic: Realize what?

Tails: Well I'm over two.

Sonic: (walks up to Niki, kneels down, and puts his and over one of her shoulders) Niki, just tell me what's going on.
