Lyric's Retribution Pt 2

(At the base)

(Lyric is mumbling under his breath while scratching out locations on a holographic map)

Lyric: If they're not there, and not there, then where are they?

Eggman: Even though you have me captive, have you ever tried looking underground or some possible cave base?

Lyric: (angered and points at the holographic map) You don't think that I haven't already looked in those areas?

(Eggman just stands in a corner with arms crossed and an eyebrow raised)

(Lyric then looks back at what he was pointing and it was an unmarked area)

Lyric: (straightens up) Well then. I think I might of just found them. And time to give Shadow a little makeover. (holds up a robot piece and evily grins at it)

(Back at the hideout)

(Everyone is trying to surround at a larger flat rock that is in the middle of the hideout)

(The rock also has a paper map of Lyric's base)

Niki: (to everyone) Okay, so we know that Lyric is mind controlling Shadow and he might end up using him as a secondary weapon if we can manage through the robots with Mephiles's help.

Sally: Which would just probably post-trigger more robots and we would have to flee again.

Max: Not necessarily. If we can cut some of the alarms to help not trigger any more, we would rather be able to slide by the extra mass.

(Everyone just then looks at Nicole who is on the far right of the scene)

Nicole: Why is everyone looking at me?!

Mephiles: (who is beside Niki) You all only thought of this till now?

Niki: (blunt) In times of crisis, we can be a bit slow.

Sally: Because Nicole, you're the only one who can actually get in the circuitry to dismantle any alarms.

Nicole: Gathered me being a technicial AI is my forte, but still! You can't expect me to turn off all the alarms Lyric has set, can you?

(Sally just pretty much smilles at Nicole)

Nicole: (slouches) Fine, I'll do it. (stands up straight and crosses arms) Only because I have done this with Eggman's tech. (attempts to turn around but stops herself) Wait, I actually have an excuse. I don't know Lyric's tech, so take that.

(Sally then raises an eyebrow)

Nicole: Ugh! Fine! But you owe me.

Sally: Deal.

Max: Alright, not exaclty sure who is in charge of this, but I'm gonna be taking lead if that's alright?

(Everyone just nods in agreement)

(A montage breaks out as people are getting set up and then are ready at the entrance)

Sally: Woah! Okay, not everybody is going. We are pretty much just doing a rescue mission. It's better that the majority of you stay.

Most of them: (sad) Awe...

Sonic: Well then, who is going with?

Max: (to Sonic) You, Sally, Niki, Nicole, Mephiles, Tails, and I.

Silver: That's it, What about me?

Max: You stay here. I would much prefer you to stay, in case they find us out.
