Lyric's Retribution Pt 4: The Final

(The group is walking towards Lyric)

(Mephiles was already talking to Lyric when they arrived)

Mephiles: (arms crossed) It's time to put you in your place, old friend.

Lyric: Old, maybe, but friend was never. You just used me. We were never companions much less partners.

Mephiles: That may be, but your reign is over. As you are a conqueror, you can still be defeated.

Lyric: (sarcastic) I thought you said that a conqueror has a better chance of success.

Mephiles: While that may be true, you left holes in your plan. We all know what we plan on doing once we got to this point. Do you know what you plan on doing?

Lyric: (rises in air) I know very well what I plan on doing. (Presses his button)

(Behind Lyric, opens four doors with nothing but Riddens pouring out and surrounding the heros)

Lyric: Already tough wasn't it? And by the way Mephiles, I don't see any holes yet in my plan to eradicate you meddling heros.

Mephiles: You left a major hole. (Grins) What do you plan on doing once the rest of us gets here?

Lyric: (eerie) Rest?

Sonic: (to Mephiles and whisper like) Mephiles, we can't afford to bring our back up right now. We have to hold them off the best we can, right now.

Mephiles: Never once did I mention their e.t.a.

(Sonic rolls his eyes in Mephiles's response)

Lyric: No matter, I'll have you all crushed, even your little extra rebellion. Riddens, get rid of them.

(The riddens inch closer and then Silver ignites a shield around the group)

(The riddens then start to pound on the shield with their tentacles)

Silver: That should hold them.

Sonic: (cautious) You so sure about that? (Staring at one of them slowly cracking the shield)

(Silver nervously chuckles in panicking mode)

Mephiles: What about that large energy wield thing you can do?

Silver: Sure let's waste all my energy in one go. And I don't see something that is just possibly a shy from being a demi god, doing anything about this.

Mephiles: Am I not allowed to conserve mine?

Silver: (irritated and almost under breath) The one time I wished I finished you off.

Niki: Can you two not argue for 5 seconds? Silver, your shield isn't lasting.

(One of the ridden then breaks through)

Silver: Oh crud... Everyone try and split! (Disbands the shield and then teleports)

Sonic: (from normal to loud) Oh sure, it's not like the few of us who can't can just SIMPLY TELEPORT!

Niki: Speak for yourself. (Turns dark super and teleports)

(Sonic's eye twitches)

(Everyone else tries to maneuver away but only Sonic and Mephiles manages to break free from the riddens)

(Gold, the rest of the team, and Blaze are still surrounded)

(Silver and Niki are up in the air)

Niki: (to Silver) Now what?
