Slice of Life for a K-9

(During the daytime in the forest)

(Niki is walking back home from a Temple Hunt. She seemed to have gotten lost because she took another route. She is humming during her walking until she realized she is not where she needs to be. She stops as soon as she hears a distant howl. Where she is standing is a small sand circle where there are paw prints. The howl grows more loud)

(Niki takes a gasp in terror. She has no idea how long it will be when it reaches her)

(Then she hears a bush rustle with something coming through it. It's a wolf. It has gray almost manged fur like it is up there in age, but not much. Then more wolves come from the bushes surrounding Niki. Niki being scared just tries to stand there like nothing is going to happen)

(All speak without moving their snouts and yes they are actual wolves not like Hanna and Jenny)

Manged male: (is directly in front) What do you think we should do with her?

Elder female: (off to the bottom left of Niki) I think we should take her to Lady.

Rasped male: (who is the largest and angrily. Who is also in the top left of Niki) Are you insane? We don't take non-canines to Lady.

Young female: (shy while speaking and is directly behind Niki) I think it might be better if we did take her.

(Niki is looking confused because she can understand them)

Manged male: Three boys, what do you think?

(The three boys are all next to each other on the bottom right side of Niki. Two large males and the runt of the pack)

One of the large males and are young: (determined) How about we just eat her.

The other large male: Yeah totally!

Runt male: Um, I'll go with Kelpchi's (kelp-chi like chi fruit) idea.

Manged wolf: Then it's decided, we'll take her to Lady.

Largest male: You can't be serious Hutson?

Niki: Uh...I hate to intrude, but I can hear everything that is being said.

(The pack is shocked)

Hutson: So you can understand us?

Niki: (awkwardly) Yes.

Hutson: Then you really do need to see Lady. Follow.

Niki: Um, ok? (starts following)

(After a few minutes later)

(Niki moves brush from her face when she reaches a wide opening filled with numerous wolves from various packs and what this area is, it's a large waterfall edge though the waterfall itself is not very large. It is about 9 feet tall. The water edge was crested with rock and only one sandy area where that was on the very left of it and on the right of it has the largest portion of water where the pack that led Niki goes to. On top of the waterfall are medium sized rocks and on one of those rocks lies a red fox)

(Niki gets shoved by Hutson towards the edge of the water facing up on the waterfall)

The fox: (sits up and has a bit of a English accent) Hutson what is the meaning of this?
