Sonic Boom Season 3

Thievery in the Night

(During night time in Niki's room)

(A open window is seen in Niki's room)

(A feminine dark figure is lurking about in her room with glowing teal eyes, coming closer to the side of the of the bed, towards the crystal)

(A hand reaches out for the crystal, but before it does, Niki shuffles herself around to eventually fall back asleep)

(The hand slowly grabs the crystal and puts it around their neck. Once they try exiting, Ziggy wakes up and notices the figure, alerting Niki)

(Niki jolts up and sees the thief)

Niki: Hey!

(The theif turns around and the screen immediately zooms in on the thief and the screen turns to black)

(The next day at Tail's workshop)

(The thief is in tied up in a chair with a cloth bag over their head. They are in all black like a heist outfit)

Niki: (to the team) If you guys want to see who it is, then be my guest.

Sonic: (walks up to the thief) Okay then, let's see who the culprit is. (Takes off the bag) Rouge?!

(I personally picture her with the Sonic X voice)

Rouge: Big Blue, long time no see. Now if you don't mind, (yells) untie me! (Angered) That little brat has got some moves I'll grant that. (Trying to be flirty) Could you still untie me?

Sonic: (arms crossed) You do realize the one you called a brat, is my sister?

Rouge: (bluntly) You're joking.

Sonic: That I am not. And what were you even doing in my parents house?

Rouge: (acting innocent) Might of overheard something about a rare crystal on an island that's also very powerful. And that a kid had it. Out to be fair I thought it was going to be easy as pie to get it, but that got proven wrong.

(Tails unties Rouge's restraints)

Rouge: Now if you don't mind, I'll still be taking that crystal.

Niki: (takes hold of the crystal from her chest) Like heck you will!

Sonic: (defending Niki) Sorry Rouge, as much as you are one for jewels, this one you can't have.

Rouge: (flirty) Awe, why not?

(Shadow is in a dark corner peeping at what's going. The only one what knows of his wearabouts is Niki)

Shadow: (with red glowing eyes) That crystal is bit more important than meets the eye.

Sonic: (startled) When did you get here?

Rouge: (hand on hip) Big Red. Didn't know you were here. But what do you mean that the jewel is more important than meets the eye?

Shadow: (steps out of the corner) I don't think any of us want a repeat of Mephiles.

Rouge: (bluntly) I'm a bit concerned now.

Niki: (tad angered) Yeah, this crystal contains his powers!

Rouge: (slight sass) Well, my bad then. Mephiles is still around, huh?

Niki: (eye twitches) Yes, and it irritates us to no point.

Sonic: Asiding from Mephiles, What really brought you here, Rouge?

Rouge: Well, I was also told by a specific someone that you were on an island. (Starts to fly but keeping on back) So, I figured why not enjoy a bit of beach life with you, Big Blue?

(Sonic has his arms crossed with an eyebrow raised)

Rouge: Ok, fine. (Arms crossed) It was mainly for the crystal. Someone said there was this crystal and that if I got for them, they would pay me top dollar.

Sonic: Who was this person?

Rouge: Out to be fair, I was already on the island for some time. Just some strange figure... (Eyes widen) Oh, Son of a- He tried duping me!

Sonic&Shadow: And you now realize that?

Niki: Well at least this got established very quickly.

Rouge: All in besides the point, I'm still gonna hang around for a few more days, that's if you don't mind.

(Sonic rolls his eyes and shaking his head, while smiling)

(The next day)

(At Shadow's temple)

Rouge: I gotta hand it ya red, not a bad place you got.

Shadow: I'm going on a guess and say you live in a cave of some sort?

Rouge: For one, that's very stereotypical and secondly, (bluntly) yes.

Shadow: Can't exactly call it a stereotype if it fits.

Rouge: (leans on the opposing wall with arms crossed) Fair point, but anyway, what have you been doing while I was away?

Shadow: (tilts head and closes eyes) Same thing as always.

Rouge: (joking) Being an old coot?

(Shadow slowly lowers his head to Rouge's level and just opens his eyes with an ominous look)

Rouge: (turns head away) Ok, didn't like that. (Looks back) You and Niki seem to know each other. Is there something between you two, that I should be aware of?

Shadow: What are you implying?

Rouge: Depends on what you're inferring, but I'm implying that you two seem friendly and knowing Sonic, that definitely wouldn't sit well with him. Especially if Niki is his sister.

Shadow: You catch on quick. So far he hasn't found anything out and pray it stays that way.

Rouge: What's so wrong with him finding out?

Shadow: It's not me you should be asking.

Rouge: The question still remains.

Shadow: (sighs) Niki is afraid that Sonic is gonna keep her away from me, only because of my past.

Rouge: That seems a little wrong.

Shadow: Again, I'm not sure how true it really is, but that's what she tells me everytime she thinks Sonic is coming close to finding out.

Rouge: I gathered it's her thoughts, but even if it did happen, it just seems kinda wrong.

Shadow: Eh, let's just hope that day doesn't come.

Rouge: (stand up fully and stretches while fluttering wings) Well, I'm gonna head out. And no I'm not going to tell him. That's between you and Niki. (Walks off)

(The scene fades overhead as Rouge is walking away from Shadow)
