Chapter 40

In the mean time someone spilled water on her dress and went away without even apologizing.Excusing herself Nandini entered to clean up when the door was suddenly closed behind her.

Turning around Nandini was shocked to see a girl of her age who was looking at her furiously.

Nandini  : Excuse,can you open the door.

Girl          : Ohh the Madam needs introduction. Then listen, the man you married is mine.You came between us from nowhere.And what mine remains mine.

At first Nandini was shocked but later she remembered seeing her in Manik's office (chapter 32)who on that day also was watching her with hateful eyes.She understood that she is someone obsessed with her husband and now she had to deal with her.

Nandini     :See girl firstly I don't even know who you are,and I don't even give a f*ck about you. For me you are someone who is behind a married shamelessly trying to scare his wife.Which is not  working.This will be the last time I'll be entertaining you.

Girl         : You don't know about me.And I decided that Manik will be mine from last two years .And my name is Natasha .

Nandini   : First thing it will be last time you saying that my husband is yours.He is not a thing but a living being.Repeat it,I'll slice your tongue.
And I don't think I should be knowing about you because last time when you were at Manik's office he didn't even care to introduce you to me.That shows me you are not a close person to him .So f*ck off.

With head held high Nandini came out of the washroom without looking at back missing the murderous expression given by Natasha.

Mukti asked Nandini that why she didn't cleaned the spot on the dress when Nandini just shrugged off.

Getting a signal from Manik , Nandini went near Navya said that she has something to talk to her and reach the other side of the hall.Giving Nandini a unbelievable expression Navya went from their after Nandini assured that she will be following her.

After sending Navya Nandini sat on the chair .Her mood was totally off and she knows that Natasha will not sit silently .She have to really careful with her and first she needs full information about her.She will be asking for some help from Vijay whom Manik as appointed as her bodyguard few weeks back to get full details of Natasha .And soon after that she will inform Manik about the matter.

Manik too came and sat beside Nandini who was totally in her dream land as she was not noticing him from last 5mins.

Manik   : Mishti are you ok?

Nandini :Yes.. Manik ...why are you asking

Manik     : I'm calling you from last 5mins.

Nandini   :Oh..

Manik     : Are you really Ok ,shall we leave if you are not feeling well.

Nandini   :Is it ok to leave.

Manik      :Yes of course... let's just inform our parents.

Both of them informed their parents and were leaving when Natasha called Manik from behind.Nandini  just leaned on Manik where he wrapped his hands around her from her waist.

Natasha  : Are you leaving?

Nandini   :(still closing her eyes)No we are just entering.

Manik was little shocked with Nandini's reply and thought due to her exhaustion she is not in the good mood.

Natasha    :But Manik it's your best friend's big day.

Nandini   :ya, you are right.its his best friend party .so please will you excuse us.

Manik was about to speak when he was cut off by Natasha.

Natasha  :Looks like your wife is least interested in party .She should have been resting in the home than rather than coming and disturbing you in the middle.

Nandini had enough of her non sense and came out from Manik's embrace.
But Manik became red when some girl of insulting his wife .

Manik     :(with rigid voice)Ms.Natasha no one has the right to insult my wife .Did you get that.When  me and my wife will be leaving the party is none of your business.So you better apologize to my wife now.

Natasha was shocked at his words and that to apologizing .

Manik   :Miss will you please do it fast.. ...we are really tired.

Nandini was just enjoying the discomfort on her face.

Natasha   : I'm sorry

And went away from their not waiting for Nandini's reply.

They both reached their room where Nandini was lazing on the bed without changing to her night dress.

Manik came from washroom ready to bed saw that Nandini was still in her party clothes with her legs dangling from bed.

Manik  :Get up Mishti ...come on go and change .

Nandini  :Mmmm.... I'm feeling so lazy Manik....

Manik   :Atleast change your dress.

Nandini  : Should I really have to do that....

Manik   :(moving his fingers on her dress zip)Shall I help you in changing then.

Abruptly getting up Nandini ran away pushing Manik aside.

Nandini came and joined Manik on the bed.

Next day Nandini called Vijay, her bodyguard .

Nandini   : Vijay, I want full details of Natasha kapoor...and don't leave anything major which happened in her life especially from last 2years.

Vijay    :It will be done Mam.Is there any problem .Shall I inform Manik Sir about it Mam .

Nandini  :No .not now.First let's get her information then I'll say what to do after that.
