Chapter 14

Manik walked inside temple and stood beside dhruv.

Seeing his fallen face, are you OK buddy asked dhruv .

Hmm.. Ya I am OK it's just that pune branch needs my immediate attention personally.

Dhruv   :Teri engagement hein buddy teen din baad.

Manik   :Usey pehle mein aa jaaonga.

Manik again gets call from his p.a.

Dhruv   : Shall I accompany.

Manik  :I'll manage. And I think it's better to start now itself.

Dhruv  :Are you sure.

Manik  :yaa.

Informing men Manik started to pune.

Nandini after feeling better came joined all. All decided to go home and prepare for engagement.

Nandini was looking for Manik but couldn't see him anywhere.

Nandini was about call him but abhi came and hurried every one inside the car.

Reaching home nandini called Manik which went unanswered.

Thinking of taking a nap nandini dozed off.

She woke up to see a message from Manik stating his stay in pune due to some issues.

Next days went in a jiffy choosing engagement dress, rings, decorations, cake etc. With Manik been not available nandini had to do his share of selection.

Coming to pune, I settled the branch issues. Before coming to Mumbai I wanted to be alone, so stayed there for a day to think calmly. Today morning I started from pune at 5. Its 7.30 now. Parking the car in garage I entered to see all the ladies were rushing here and there looking beautiful.

Cabir   :Aagaya Manik. Chal andar. Jaldi tayar hojao.

Manik   :I think there is a lot of time for functions to start. Baaki sab kaha hein?

Cabir   :Maa ne sab ko kaam pe lagaa di.

Manik   :tu yeh gifts leke kyun ghoom raha hein. Car mein rak ke aon.

Cabir  : don't even ask anything, kabhi iss car rakho nahi uss car mein rakho, kuch bhool gaye andar leke aaon. Bas mujhe ghuma rahe hein tabh se.

Laughing at his misery I entered my room and took a relaxing shower before getting ready for today.

Murthy Mansion

We can see same scenario here too.

Everyone one had their brunch in their Mansions before starting the ceremony.

(I have no idea about punjabi rituals, so please excuse me if I write something wrong and you can suggest the right ones too)

Engagement will take place after 7 in the evening and roka will be held after 1 or something afternoon .

Malhotra's, Dhawan's, Vedhant 's, Saxena' s, along with malhotra 's relatives reached Murthy Mansion for ceremonies.

Murthy s welcomed everyone with all smiles.

Raj and Vishwa embraced each other on the occasion of taking their friendship into their children marriage.

All the arrangements were done for roka.

Nandini came down with navya and sat beside Manik.

Manik and Nandini smiled at each other.
