Chapter 54

Manan reached hospital where Alya is admitted. Enquiring in the reception they reached the room where Vedhant's and Alya's father and Fab 4 along with Navya were present.

Manik reached for Dhruv and hugged him tightly congratulating him on becoming a father .Nandini too congratulated Alya and Dhruv along with Manik. All the people in the room rejoiced the good new they received.

Alya, Dhruv , Cabir and Navya were on a double date when Alya fell unconscious all of suuden. Navya acted quick and brought her to hospital. After doing tests Dhruv was informed about her pregnancy. And Cabir who was already trying to be best uncle called everyone and asked them to come to hospital. He aaked Navya to call Nandini thinking that she is in Murthy's while he called Manik.

Alya was discharged late in the night , everyone decided to return to their homes.

Thank God everyone were preoccupied with Alya's pregnancy if not they  would have been teased alot as they came in their date attire only thought Manik .

Nandini asked Manik to take her home as it was near and she is exhausted from all the traveling. Agreeing to her Manik turned towards Malhotra Mansion. They both reached and changed into their night dress and dozed off.

As next day was Sunday Nandini made the plans to visit Murthy Mansion along with Manik for whole day. Both reached Murthy Mansion and Nandini left Manik with the men in the house and went to her mom who was in kitchen checking the lunch arrangements.

Avni was startled when Nandini hugged her behind.

"I'm so happy Mom". exclaimed Nandini.

"Really if you are happy we are also happy". said Avni.

"Will you not ask me the reason behind it". questioned Nandini.

"If you want to say then tell me", said Avni.

"Manik and I confessed our feelings for  each other",  gushed Nandini blushing beautifully.

Seeing her daughter happy in her marriage Avni's eyes filled with happy tears.

"I'm so happy for you beta... what more parents need other than seeing their children happy.Now that you are settled I will have talk with Abhi and after that Aru", said Avni.

Nandini bobbed her head to whatever her mother was saying.

Nandini once again hugged her mom and hopped towards Hall sat beside her father cocooning into his arms.

On enquiring she got to know that Amms went to visit a near by temple and will return before dinner time.

Shortly Abhi and Aru too reached there. All of them had lunch together where Avni managed to include everyone's one favourite dish.
Relishing the taste everyone had more than usual.

Youngsters thought of playing something to pass the time. They played few indoor games for some time and reached respective rooms after that.

Nandini planned on making some choclate mousse cake first time in her life.She watched some YouTube videos and reached kitchen. She picked some ingredients and was soon joined by Manik,Abhi and Arun who where adamant on helping her when they themselves don't know anything.

Reluctantly agreeing to them Nandini started her baking and seeing the video for every 5 minutes. Settling the cake batter into the oven they made the frosting and readied the cake in a 1.5 hr of time. The end result was looking good to their eyes.
Everyone was happy with cake and Nandini settled it aside and left the kitchen not before ordering the boys to clean the mess in the kitchen.
Manik was about to escape behind her but Aru managed to stop him and handed him a cloth.

After evening tea they settled in front of TV seeing an old movie along with elders.
Amms returned just before the dinner time making Nandini happy. Manan took her blessings

It was dinner time when Sunitha ( Nandini's aunt) gave an entry instantly ruining everyone's mood except Nandini's parents. They welcomed her and all of them had dinner. Nandini served everyone her dessert and it did came out quite good for her first trail.

After sometime time Sunitha said that she wants to return and Manik agreed to drop her till her car.
Manik gave a nod to Amms and followed Sunitha to her car.

Flashback from Chapter 13
Manik who just completed the call was coming into the temple to see nandini crying on other side.

Manik was going near nandini but Sunitha stopped and said something to him, stopping his world for few seconds.

Their actual conversation:
You want to console Nandini,but go there after knowing the reason for her tears said Sunita .
Manik gave her questioning look.

Ohh...Nandu got such a good heart she is sacrificing her love.What I meant to say is even though she has feelings for my son she let go him for his happiness. See such a good child she is.So please take care of her after marriage , Sunitha sprouted some nonsense and left from there.

Manik was blank for sometime after receiving the information that Nandini has feelings for saomeone and she said OK to this alliance. But hethought it was best to leave the place and cool his mind.

Flashback ends.
Manik though is a impatient man he changed alot after meeting Nandini.Even when her aunt sow some doubt seeds in his head he managed to get them out after carefully analysing the situation. Nandini herself said OK to their alliance and she was very happy for madhyam's wedding doing all the preparations .So, Manik thought to go with the fllow believing in destiny. But her aunt till didn't got satisfied and tried to defame him. What if the pictures reached Nandini and Murthy's. He didn't even want to imagine that scenario. She tried to hurt him which in turn will hurt his Jaan which is unacceptable. They have to cross him before reaching his mishti.

Thinking all this Manik opened the car door for Sunitha.

"Be careful aunty we don't know when our bad deeds come after us to bite us', warned Manik dangerously in a low voice but surely terrified her.

Nodding to him with Sunitha wiped sweat from her face.
Manik asked the driver to start the car and left inside.

When the car was  about to cross the Murthy Mansion gate it was stopped by Nandini who opened the door and asked her aunty to come outside.

"Maybe my husband thought that you are family and a women and left you without a punishment. So take this chance and change yourself. Next time even the thought of harming my family especially my husband comes to your mind I'll forget that you are a women.That's my promise to you. Before hurting him you have to cross me",  warned Nandini and left from their not even caring for her aunt's condition.

Sunitha was about faint but controlled herself and hoped in the car.She asked the driver not to stop anywhere till they reach her home.

Nandini reached her Amms room and hugged her.Nandini got to know what her aunt tried to defame Manik two days before. She was so shocked when she listened to this from her Amms. How could she even think of doing something like that. Trying to harm her own niece's marriage. Amms explained her everything and said Manik was deeply hurt seeing the photos. How dare that women who thought that she could hurt her husband.

With all these thoughts she left to her room.
She hoped on Manik and hugged him tightly and slept peacefully.
