8. bad boyfriend

story time~ yoongi's and jimin's date

after jimin bid goodbye to taehyung and got into yoongi's car, he was feeling more than excited. yoongi hadn't said anything about the date, so jimin knows nothing.

when jimin entered the car, yoongi waves goodbye to taehyung and pecks his boyfriend's lips, before driving off.

"so where are we going?"

"i... i thought we could take a walk in the park." the alpha suggested. jimin pouted because he expected more, but in the end, he doesn't care because he spends the time with the person he loves the most on this planet. after taehyung of course, because— bros before hoes, even though they wouldn't count yoongi as a hoe.

however, alone the fact that yoongi wants to spend time with him makes him happy. it's more than enough.

"baby?"

"hmm?"

"you know that i love you, right?" yoongi asked, as they walked down a dark way in the park, which was only being illuminated by a few street lights and the bright shining moon.

jimin blushed. "i love you too." the omega whispered back. yoongi rarely tells him that he loves him, he shows it to him everyday though. gestures, compliments, surprises— yoongi's way of telling someone that he loves them isn't by words.

"can i kiss you?" the alpha asked, as he stopped midway and jimin's heart just did a tripple flip, because damn, getting asked for consent by an alpha is rare. and it was rare for yoongi to ask, he normally just did it, jimin never complained though.

"o-of course." the omega stuttered, confused about the fact that he did, because it isn't like him and yoongi never kissed before.

they kissed, but this kiss was different. really different. there was a hidden emotion getting poured into the act by yoongi's lips, the emotion overwhelming jimin, breaking something inside him.

even yoongi's scent, his aura changed to bitter and jimin opened his eyes, them widening when he saw yoongi's eyes were filled with unspilled tears.

he quickly cut off and cupped the older's face in his small hands. "wh-what's wrong?" he asked worriedly. yoongi took jimin's wrists and pulled them down, taking a deep, shaky breath.

"i'm a bad boyfriend, chim. i love you, i love you so much." confusion and worry were written in the omega's face.

"hey, calm down, you're not a bad boyfriend. i love you." getting on his tiptoes, jimin hugged the alpha tightly, only to whimper when he got lightly pushed away. "i have to tell you something..." yoongi looked away.

"i don't want to hide it anymore, because it's not fair, but... but you're not the only one that i love."

it was like jimin's whole world shattered into millions of pieces and he watched every little piece spread out into every direction. "what?" he breathed out, eyebrows furrowed.

"i..i love you, but.. i love someone else just as much."

"j-just as much?" the omega felt like he would faint in the next second. "wh-what are you talking about?"

"i-i met someone.. a few months ago and we became friends... but i feel more for him now."

jimin sucked in a deep breath. "this is a joke, isn't it?" he mumbled, lips quivering, but deep down he knew yoongi would never lie.

"i-i'm so sorry."

"d-do you love me?" the omega asked, tears running down his cheeks now.
