a groan left taehyung's lips as he woke up from a deep slumber, first ignoring the mysterious source of warmth underneath him. wiggling around, the omega tried to find a more comfortable position to lay in, furrowing his eyebrows

the omega pouted lightly, not finding the perfect position, so he opened his eyes and with a foggy view, he noticed that his warmth source was a body.

sighing, he closed his eyes again. but opened them immediately once he realized that his warmth source was a body.

with a loud gasp, the omega sat up, crawling backwards away from the body, causing him to reach the end of the couch and fall down.

almost immediately, jeongguk woke up from his second sleep this day and looked around, widening his eyes when he saw taehyung sitting on the floor, looking at him with just as wide eyes.

"are you alright?" jeongguk's first instinct was to get up and rush to the omega, picking him up to sit him on the couch. taehyung blushed in the act, cursing under his breath because of it.

how the fuck did he end up sleeping with jeongguk?

"y-yes, i just got startled." he giggled awkwardly, jeongguk smiled.

"did you... sleep well?"

nodding, the omega fiddled with the paws of his light green sweater. "yes... i slept well."

"dreamed of minjae?" the alpha looked down while asking that question. imagining someone else next to taehyung was making him feel a little suffocated.

the omega started chewing on his lip. "i guess?" he mumbled, but then smiled. "i had no nightmare though, i dreamed happily today!" his eyes glistened up with excitement and joy, jeongguk could only coo at him.

"i'm glad."

taehyung calmed down from his light episode of happiness and leaned back on the couch. "h-how did this, by the way, happen?" the omega pointed first at himself, then at jeongguk and then to the couch.

"we were watching a movie and then kinda fell asleep?" taehyung nodded and sighed.

"i-i'm sorry, maybe i just got too comfortable..."

"why are you sorry, pup? don't worry, it's alright." actually, when jeongguk called taehyung 'pup' right on their first meeting— it was an accident. the petname just slipped out almost from alone, when he was sure, taehyung was his omega. he was glad taehyung didn't complain, giving him the chance to continue calling him 'pup'.

taehyung got up. "you need clothes to change in, you can't stay with these—

"no, don't worry, it's alright. i will just go home," the alpha explained, giving the smaller a reassuring smile.

the omega bit his lip. "i thought you could stay for... a late breakfast?"

jeongguk could feel the omega's nervousness and he fought the urge to coo out loudly at him. "i guess, then... do you have clothes for me? maybe one of your baby pink sweaters?"

taehyung pouted. "i only have one baby pink! and my clothes are too small for you anyways., i can maybe give you something from my hyung. he's an alpha too, so.." taehyung shrugged.

"everything is fine with me. though wearing one of your sweaters would've been the best." jeongguk teased and taehyung grabbed one of the couch pillows and threw it at the alpha.
