after the two wolves had eaten, nothing much happened, taehyung found an excuse to leave earlier, telling jeongguk that his family must already be waiting for him and that jimin is at his place, which wasn't a lie.
he couldn't bear to stay any longer with jeongguk, whose words and behavior reminded him suddenly so much on his alpha, which caused him get eaten up alive by his thoughts.
they had bid their goodbyes, waved towards each other and taehyung finally got namjoon's car back.
now he was driving home in his hyungs car that was working without any problem, thanks to jeongguk.
taehyung tried to blend out any thoughts about the alpha, though it was hard— so hard sometimes he missed a traffic light.
he arrived safely though and when he opened the door to his home, he was shocked to find his two hyungs and his best friend, sitting in front of the entrance on three chairs, all in the same position; arms and legs crossed, obviously waiting for him. "i'm... back?" taehyung said awkwardly, before pulling his jacket off.
"how was it?" namjoon asked, wiggling his eyebrows and taehyung was more than confused, but then glared at jimin. "you told him?"
"nah, we did it together." seokjin chuckled.
"you and the new student?" namjoon questioned and taehyung groaned. "it's not like that... we're just friends and he helped me with your car."
"why did you lie and tell me that you brought it to mechanic then?" namjoon kept annoying him, taehyung felt frustrated.
"to not get these reactions! i knew all of you would act like this, now get up, whose idea was it to move the chairs here—
"jin hyung!" jimin shouted and seokjin looked at him offended. "bitch, don't snitch on me like that, i thought we were a team?!"
taehyung sighed out deeply. "can we please sit down on the couch and then i tell you everything that happened?" the omega spoke calmly.
"first of all, joonie hyung, i have this dreams—
"skip that part, they told me." namjoon interrupted and taehyung glared at his brother and best friend. "anyway, once one of these dreams came true..." taehyung explained the kite-dream and the car-failure and how they came partly true, then he told them how he met with jeongguk in a café and how they played in the snow, to which jimin and seokjin couldn't stop squealing as they found it too cute. taehyung had rolled his eyes and then explained that he went to jeongguk's today to get namjoon's car back, leaving out that he for the first time sat on a motorcycle.
three pairs of eyes now looked at him expecting. taehyung blushed under their stares. "what?" he asked and jimin shrugged. "what? come on, you're so conflicted, tell us what happened."
"don't push him—
"no let him talk." seokjin interrupted his husband, who huffed.
biting his lip, taehyung began to talk again. "so... he was the one who helped me get the kite out of the branches." taehyung sighed and the three looked at him with wide eyes, before jimin started squealing. "oh my god, i knew it!"
"he kept denying though, how did you find out?" taehyung blushed, remembering how he held jeongguk's hand against his own waist.
"he said something that took me out of concept and i felt a little dizzy, so he lifted me onto the kitchen counter to give me water—
"he's so cute, taehyung!" jin whined, taehyung ignored him.
"—it just felt the same. he had the same voice, getting lifted up felt the same. he couldn't deny it in the end anymore."
