15. new boy

"what movie are we going to watch?" taehyung asked his alpha happily and the talker male chuckled. "you can decide."
he answered, as they cuddled up next to each other on the couch.

taehyung happily turned the tv on, but as fast as it got on, it also shut down again, with all lights in the whole house.

the alpha quickly mad sure taehyung was fine. "are you alright? seems like a power cut."

"i'm fine, just surprised." the omega pouted. "there are candles in the kitchen." he continued, then yelped surprised when he got lifted up.

"let's get candles, pup." the alpha said as he walked with taehyung in his arms to the kitchen, stemming the omega on his waist, holding him like a toddler.

having no other option than holding onto the broad male tightly, taehyung also swung his legs around him, smiling contently, as the alpha carried him to the kitchen.

with his other hand, that isn't holding the omega, the alpha reached out for the cupboard. with a satisfied grin, he grabbed three or four and handed them to taehyung, who squealed, sniffling on the scented objects.

they walked back to the living room, the alpha gently sitting taehyung on the couch, as he lit the few candles up, looking around the room, as the dim light illuminated it.

his eyes found taehyung and he stopped looking anywhere else, eyes gawking at the younger.

"what is?" the omega asked shyly, peering his gaze away from the alpha's as his cheeks turned into a bright red.

the alpha didn't say any word, as he gently grabbed the omega's chin, turning his face for their eyes to meet again. as if this wasn't making taehyung's heart already beat out of his chest, the alpha also tucked a wisp of hair behind his ear, smiling fondly.

"you're beautiful."

three days have passed since taehyung was at jeongguk's house, and he kind of tried to hide from jeongguk and not cross paths with him in school or anywhere else since then, not knowing how he will be able to face him without thinking about his alpha.

he was standing on his locker, taking out his books, stuffing them into his white backpack, history was his next class and he wasn't having it. as if his mood wasn't already down because of other things.

he turned around when he suddenly bumped into someone, almost falling if it wasn't for strong arms catching him in the last second.

"wow, slowly." the soft voice of the brunette in front of him said, as he helped taehyung up. the omega quickly backed away from the male, an alpha and apologized. "i'm so sorry, i didn't know— are you hurt?"

taehyung's hand was shaking, he was never fond of alpha's, he had heard about them mistreating omegas more than he needed to and it scared him, yet jeongguk really seemed like an exception as he grew fond to him so quickly.

taehyung was scared of the alpha, but the warm smile that he gave him, let him melt. the alpha in front of him was tall, indescribable handsome and seemed to be really nice.

"it's okay, don't worry. i just am in a rush, since i can't find my class. i'm new at this school, euh... can you help?"

taehyung stared at him, he should've noticed before that he wasn't wearing their uniform, just like jeongguk didn't on his first day either. in the beginning, he wasn't wearing it too, but when he got it, he did. and he looked really handsome—

"yeah, of course."

"what's your name?" the alpha asked as taehyung led him through the hall. "kim taehyung." the omega answered, not knowing why he blushed.
