33. like a dream

"popcorn or chips?" [i don't mean french fries] jeongguk asked holding one of the mentioned snacks in each of his hands.

taehyung smiled. he was sitting on the ravenette's bed, the laptop in front of him, waiting for jeongguk to be ready so they can start the movie. "i like both, so you decide," the omega said and jeongguk stared at him for a few seconds, taking in the adorable view of his omega smiling.

"sure thing, then it's both," he chuckled, leaving the room and coming back with two empty bowls that he then filled with one of the snacks.

he took one popcorn between his pointy finger and thumb, holding it close to taehyung's mouth. "open up, doll," jeongguk said, causing taehyung to blush and then take the sweet in his mouth.

holding a smirk back, the alpha turned the lights off. "are you a fan of LED's?" he asked and taehyung shrugged. "as long as you don't turn the red one on, it's fine." he giggled lightly and jeongguk chuckled. "okay, then tell me which colour to put on."

taehyung thought a little before he decided to take the remote out of jeongguk's hand and try the colours out. "i need to see them first," the omega said and jeongguk looked at him fondly, heart speeding up at the cute expressions taehyung makes whenever there is a new colour.

"i think that's it!" the grey haired omega said and jeongguk nodded, looking at the beautiful purple that was now lightening up jeongguk's room.

"purple is so pretty," taehyung gawked. jeongguk slowly made his way to sit next to the omega, so that their shoulder's were touching. "you're prettier."

blushing, the omega just took a popcorn and stuffed it into jeongguk's mouth. "so which movie are we watching?" he asked, trying to look away from jeongguk, knowing exactly that the older male was smirking while chewing the popcorn.

"you can decide, i'll watch anything that you watch." jeongguk answered. taehyung thought for a moment, before smiling. "have you ever seen the movie 'coraline'?"

jeongguk furrowed his eyebrows. "isn't that a child's movie—

a gasp from taehyung made him shut up. "how could you say that?! no horror movie can compare to this one! me and jimin used to always watch it and i shit my pants every time."

jeongguk smirked. "don't worry my omega, i will protect you."

taehyung smiled. "thank you... my alpha."

they kept staring into each other's eyes for a few seconds more, before jeongguk broke the silence and reminded taehyung on the laptop.

"coraline it is," taehyung decided, putting the movie on play.

during the movie, jeongguk kept moving closer to the omega, he wasn't really focused on the movie, his heart was rather freaking out because of the close proximity between him and the boy he is so deeply in love.

taehyung wasn't dumb— he noticed how jeongguk was shuffling around, eating and sometimes when the screen turned darker, he could see jeongguk not looking at the movie but at him. thinking he could do jeongguk a favor, taehyung slowly leaned against the alpha's arm.

jeongguk smiled.

and so did taehyung.

"so she goes through that small door and it leads her to a world where everything is just like she wanted it?" jeongguk said, now watching the movie again.

taehyung hummed. "in her real life, her parents have no time for her and she's always alone, but in this world the parents do everything for her. it seems perfect, but nothing is."
