taehyung was overthinking what jimin had said, he didn't know why it suddenly troubled him so much. the fact that he so easily could get closer to jeongguk and the way he feels so comfortable around him seemed suddenly like something so surreal.
"taehyung, can you answer question number three?" the omega snapped out of his thoughts, looking away from the window to his teacher, namjoon eyeing him with a demanding expression.
"i'm sorry mr. kim, but can you repeat the question again?" taehyung looked at his hyung pleadingly, the older sighed. "if you'd payed attention, i wouldn't need to do that, do i?"
the class started laughing and taehyung shot namjoon a death glare. "i apologize."
"taehyung!" class was over, the omega was on his way of finally getting to pack his things and leave this suffocating place, but he halted hearing namjoon call him. with a pout, the omega packed his pencil case into his backpack and then trotted to his teacher.
"what is, hyung?"
namjoon looked at the omega with squinted eyes, arms crossed, lips tightly pressed together. "what's off with you lately, you're normally one of my best students."
the omega held an eye-roll back. "i know... it's just i have a lot on mind lately."
"wanna talk about it?" taehyung usually tells namjoon— all his three hyungs— everything.
"i already told jin hyung, i promise to tell you later when we're home."
namjoon's expression softened, he was relieved that taehyung instantly agreed to talking to him, even if it's later.
"it's okay, take care. are you going home now?"
eyes widening, taehyung remembers jeongguk. "oh my god, i forgot your car! bye hyung, see you later and love you!" taehyung turned around to look through the class and when he saw no one, he gave the alpha a hug and then sprinted out to the school yard.
from afar, he found jeongguk standing at the gate, now clothed in their school uniform. taehyung smiled. "you look so different in these colours." he giggled, eyeing jeongguk, the dark grey and whine red so unusual on him. he still looked good though.
"thank you?" the alpha said, making taehyung giggle once again. "where's jimin?"
"he skipped class, saying he had to be mentally prepared for his date." the omega explained, once again playing with his bracelet. he seriously doesn't know why he kept cherishing it so much, honestly he wasn't even sure if it belonged to that one alpha at that night, or if it just randomly lay on the floor. he can't even remember him clearly.
"it's just a date with his boyfriend, what's up with him?" jeongguk asked then confused. "it's... complicated. anyways, can we... go? where's your car?"
a guilty smile made its way to jeongguk's lips and taehyung narrowed his eyes at him. "what is?"
"i'm here with my motorbike..."
taehyung's eyes widened. "so... you're.. t-telling me..." taehyung was always scared of motorcycles, that one event when he and jimin almost got hit was just adding to that fear.
"it's gonna be fine." taehyung flinched, when he felt jeongguk's hand wrapping around his smaller one and he led him to the bikes.
taehyung gulped, eyeing jeongguk's complete black motorbike.
the alpha eyed the omega softly, the fear evident in taehyung's expression. jeongguk cupped taehyung's cheeks in his hands, crouching down until he was on the omega's height.
