so this is an alternative epilogue and ending to their story. one that is happy. many people texted me, telling me they wished they could've seen mated taekook. i've been contemplating this a lot, not only because you guys texted me, but also because i myself think that they don't deserve a sad ending. but i'm keeping both endings!
hope you enjoy it<33

2 years later.

"you are such an asshole, i hate you, hoseok," jimin whined, hitting his mate on the shoulder. "calm down, lil' shit!" the latter hissed back, rubbing the spot the omega just hit him.

"are they always like this?" jin asked yoongi, who was sitting next to him. he scoffed softly. "we're all three like this."

"jimin, fucking calm down, it isn't like the world goes under just because he placed a damn 4+ card on you!" namjoon groaned annoyed. all he wanted to do was play a game with the family.

jimin looked up surprised, raising an eyebrow. "i preferred when you still were my teacher and didn't dare to curse at me," he said, pouting. the others chuckled.

that's when they heard the sound of keys dangling and everyone looked to the entrance door, where an exhausted taehyung entered the house after an 8hour shift of work, dropping his bag on the ground and hanging his jacket on the hook at the wall.

"you're back," seokjin smiled.

taehyung smiled too. "you're playing uno without me? i feel offended," he chuckled, walking towards them.

"you can still join! i advice you to not take a seat next to hoseok, he places 4+ cards with no mercy." jimin squinted his eyes at the mentioned male, who looked at him with a bewildered look. "that's how this fucking game works!"

taehyung laughed lightly, then looked to yoongi, who just sat there, looking wholeheartedly at his two mates. "you're enjoying this a lot, hmm?"

"they're adorable," he just said, taking a sip of his cup of tea.

taehyung then looked around, noticing someone was missing.

"where's jeongguk?" he questioned.

"sleeping." namjoon shrugged.

taehyung nodded. "i'll check up on him, be right back." he was confused, it was barely nine pm and jeongguk never sleeps early.

he smiled as he went over to the bedroom, and saw the ravenette sleeping soundly in between the comfort of white.

"had a rough day, hmm?" he chuckled, as he sat down on the edge of the bed, brushing his hand through jeongguk's dark hair.

he smiled softly. this man was his world and the only reason taehyung kept on holding onto life.

he retracted his hand back from jeongguk's hair to go freshen up, when he got suddenly pulled into bed by a strong grip around his waist. Taehyung gasped as he came face to face with the alpha, who still had his eyes closed, but a mischievous grin on his lips.

"welcome home, pup," jeongguk's sleepy voice rumbled through taehyung's mind. he relaxed a little and smiled warmly, when jeongguk opened his eyes and met his.

"slept well?" taehyung giggled, brushing jeongguk's messy hair out of his face.

"yeah.." jeongguk closed his eyes again, pulling Taehyung closer, as he nuzzled his nose into the omega's neck. "i hate that you work so much."

taehyung rolled his eyes. "you work just as much, you just start and finish earlier."

taehyung sucked in a deep breath when jeongguk suddenly licked the most sensitive spot on his neck.
