to say taehyung was feeling nervous was an underestimation. he understands, the way jeongguk compliments him, takes care of him and treats him so gently, might just be the way the alpha handles him.
nothing else would make sense in taehyung's eyes, since they haven't seen each other before; they don't know the other, even if it feels like the complete opposite.
presently, the two wolves were inside of jeongguk's house, after the alpha helped taehyung on his feet again, he asked him if he wants to come in. taehyung wanted to decline, but jeongguk's smile changed his mind real quickly.
and now... he wants to leave, because of thoughts that kept eating him alive, while jeongguk was in the kitchen making food and he sat on the couch in the living room.
he kept questioning, why the hell he trusts jeongguk so much, a stranger, an alpha, that he had met just a week ago. normally, taehyung would never feel so comfortable around someone he just met.
the omega shook his head, groaning lightly, hating the path his thoughts kept wandering to.
he slowly got up and walked towards the room he saw jeongguk disappearing behind, which was the kitchen.he halted when the older stood on the stove, concentrating on the food he was making, one arm holding the pan, the other the spoon, his sleeves pushed up, his veiny tattooed arm and hand on display— taehyung quickly averted his gaze.
jeongguk smirked, he knew taehyung was there, knew the omega just got flustered by this view. "pup, do you wanna help?"
for the first time in all this time, the nickname did something uncommon to taehyung, it made him flinch first, then his tummy turned and bow he feels damn flustered. before, he took it as just a nickname jeongguk gave him, like jimin calls him 'babe' or something, but now— it felt different.
"wh-what can i help you with?" he asked quietly, eyes looking at jeongguk's tattoos. "you can hand me the seasonings, up there in the cupboard." the alpha said, before turning around and taking a chair, moving it towards the mentioned cupboard, so taehyung can climb onto it.
the omega giggled lightly, as he hopped onto the chair and opened the cupboard. "what do you need, sir chef cook?" he said in a silly voice, which made jeongguk chuckle. "please hand me the dried oregano." jeongguk responded, taehyung search for the small glass bottle.
"is it that?" the omega asked and jeongguk smiled, looking up and giving taehyung a thumbs up.
"thank you, you did great!" he said and taehyung rolled his eyes, wanting to hit him, if he wasn't standing on the chair.
"do you need something else, sir?" the silver haired asked and jeongguk pretended to think. "some black pepper would be nice."
taehyung smiled and handed the small bottle to jeongguk. "here it is." the omega giggled, though in the next moment, he froze on the spot.
"good boy."
dizziness run over taehyung the moment these words left jeongguk's lips. his heart made a big jump and he suddenly felt weak, his only support being the lean of the chair. "j-jeongguk."
the alpha looked up to him, expression turning worried almost instantly, as he met taehyung's unbelieving eyes, his parted lips— a shocked expression. seeing taehyung's state, he quickly let the omega down and sat him on the kitchen counter. "what's wrong, pup?"
taehyung had heard only one person call him 'good boy', only one person had used this nickname that drove him crazy.
jeongguk turned the stove off and pulled a glass from the cupboard, filling it with water and handing it to the omega.
