One fine morning - well, not really - Yuna was standing in front of her best friend's locker, trying to drag her into something that she isn't really fond of.
"Oh, come on! Just one night, and we're leaving!" Yuna exclaimed, continuously tugging on the other girl's arm. The latter is starting to grow annoyed and has started to ask herself questions like, why am I friends with her? or did puberty hit her hard?
She turns around to shake off Yuna's hands, "Look, my final answer is no! No, I will not drag my feet to an abandoned house and spend the night there, with the possibility of a serial killer living there." she raised her voice.
The older proceeds to whine at her, telling her things like it's just one night and we can invite Ryujin, too. But her friend was still not having it. "Ugh, you're so damn frustrating!" Wonyoung laughs at Yuna's defeat.
"You're such a scaredy cat," Wonyoung pays little to no attention to her and just walks ahead with her bag swung over her shoulder. Yuna quickly catches up with her, clinging onto her arm. "Please? For me?"
"No means no, unnie."
"How would you like it if I make a scene right here, right now?"
"Go ahead."
Yuna huffs in frustration, it seems like there's always nothing she could do to make Wonyoung lose to her. The younger is just too chill, to the point where she can't beat her. "I mean, I would just walk away, you know?"
"Shut your mouth." Wonyoung only chuckles before she and Yuna parts ways to go to their classes.
. . .
"Hey, hey, hey," Yuna unconsciously rolls her eyes at the all too familiar voice. She doesn't turn her head to them, and instead, she stares at the blackboard in front; something she rarely does, considering her hatred for science.
"Hello, Yuna!" the boy greeted cheerfully.
Once again, she doesn't do anything and only looks in front. "Oh, so you're going to just ignore me now?" she groans in annoyance. "Oh, yay. You noticed me."
"Well, don't really have a choice, do I?"
"Touché."
Yuna mentally rolls her eyes, "What do you want?" she asked, not-so-willingly as she really doesn't want to know.
He smiles and rests his elbow on the corner of her desk, "How about a date?" he said, causing Yuna to aggressively kick his leg under the table. "Isn't that what you wanted last time?"
He shrugs, "Why not?" he muttered.
Yuna turns to the teacher, careful to not get caught. "Are you really that desperate?" the boy nods. She rummages through her bag that sat beside her leg and pulls out a rubik's cube. "Uh.. Should I be worried?"
"Solve this, without watching any tutorials." she smirked, sliding the puzzle cube in front of him. "Then, you get to go on a date with me."
He glances at the cube, then at her to try and see if she's kidding or not. "Are you serious?" he mumbled. Yuna bops her head, the smirk still present. "I could never solve this thing, not in a million years."
"Oh, please, Kai. You're the top student in this class, you're telling me you can't solve a rubik's cube?" she lowly chuckled. He scratches his neck as he holds onto the cube, "I'll...try, I guess." with that, Yuna leaves him with the cube.
