"Ugh" I groan out as I try to open my eyes. I finally open my eyes as I sit up. It's dark around me and I try to adjust my eyes.
I'm...in a cave?
Wait-don't tell me that hallucination was actually real?!
I jump back as I see the flying carpet hovering right next to me.
"You're real?!" I scream, extremely shocked. The carpet 'nods'. Can this thing actually understand me?
I look around, seeing the huge dark cave.
"D-did you save me?" I ask with wide eyes to the carpet thing. The carpet 'nods' again. "Thank you" I say, confused on how I should show my gratitude.
The carpet flies away to come back with the golden lamp, handing it to me with one of its points.
"Err...thanks" I say as I cautiously take it. The carpet 'nods' again and zooms around the cave.
All this for a stupid lamp?
It looks a lot like a gravy boat.
I hold it closer to my face, seeing how dirty it is. I use my thumb, rubbing it to try and get it clean again.
I squint my eyes. Is it just my imagination or is this thing getting brighter?
Then it starts shaking and I immediately drop it, distancing myself from it.
Then it finally stops shaking. I take a breathe of relief, promising not to touch that thing again but out it's opening, it bursts. A blue thing comes out, huge and in the air.
I run to find cover, peeking a bit to see what on earth I just did.
"Ugh, finally. I never thought the story would start, Al-" the thing says, stretching but looking around to spot me immediately.
"You're not-" the thing begins and the next thing I know, he poofed right next to me. I fall, looking at this thing.
"Don't be alarmed pal" the blue thing says. I get a good look to see it looks like a normal guy but with blue skin and no legs.
"Are you the one that rubbed the lamp?" he asks, pointing at me. I slowly nod.

"Ok, listen up. You've got three wishes. Three simple rules. Can't bring back the dead. Can't make anyone fall in love. Can't kill anyone" the genie lists off as he circles me, looking me up and down.
"Erm, what are you doing?" I ask, really unsure on why the genie is looking at me like that. "You weren't what I was expecting. My apologies, I'll stop" the genie says as he floats in front of me.
