We finally reach Chateau.
Riding a dragon was so much faster than any other mode of transportation, besides teleportation.
We didn't want to cause distress between the townsfolk with bringing a dragon so we landed nearby but our problem solved itself when it ran off.
"Ok, we'll meet up with you" Hoseok calls after the dragon sprinting into the forest.
"Shall we?" I ask as we eye the beginning of the Kingdom.
"Yip" Hoseok excitedly says as he speed walks into the kingdom, clearly excited.I thought he was going to be nervous but I guess not.
I follow Hoseok, trying to keep up with my short legs.
Hoseok excitedly hops from one stall to another. It seems we walked right into a market.
I buy lunch and a few other things, letting Hoseok have his moment.
He is a lot more sociable than what I thought he would be. He was having quick happy chats with almost everyone that crossed his way.
I wanted to kick every person that gave him a double take behind his back. I'm already used to the stares but I'm glad Hoseok didn't realise.
The gates to the palace were wide open and people casually enter the palace without any hostility from the guards.
But there was a limit.
"What do you mean? I am Prince Hoseok and I request a meeting with Prince Yoongi...please" Hoseok struggles with the security when they stopped us from going any further.
"I'm sorry sir but this is the royal family's living quarters. I can't allow you to go past this point" the guard tries to explain with an apologetic look on his face. The other doesn't join his friend and observes us instead.
I got my eye on you...
"But...he's my friend" Hoseok tries to explain.
"I'm sorry sir. Eligible maidens are only allowed a meeting with Prince Yoongi" the guard explains.Hoseok deflates.
"Mind passing on the message then?" Hoseok asks with hopeful eyes.
"Of course Sir. I'll make sure that he knows" the guard slightly bows and he leaves. The other stays standing, keeping his eye on us."...I'm not gonna be gay for that guy" Hoseok tries to lift the mood a little.
I laugh a little at his joke while my eyes trail up the walls. I take a step back while I observe the ceiling.
"Beautiful" I comment, eyeing the golden decoration of roses covering the roof. The stems of the gold roses 'grew' from the walls to the roof.
If it's this beautiful in the public areas, I wonder how beautiful it would be beyond that.
"It certainly is...Just a warning, I remember his mother has an incredibly strong scent of roses. You'll get a headache if you don't back up a bit. Just in case we meet the Queen" Hoseok warns as he eyes the decor as if what he just said was normal.
"Ok" I take his advice, leaving it at that.
"Man, it's been so many years. Do you think he would even remember me?" Hoseok starts getting nervous.
"I don't think anyone can forget you" I admit.
"Ah yes, with my 'unique' features" he says, laughing slightly.
"I meant-" I try to explain but the guard cuts our conversation short."Prince Hoseok, you are requested. Please follow me" the guard says.
"Can she come with me?" Hoseok quickly asks, referring to me."No. My apologies, your highness" the guard says straight up.
"Well I'm not going if she can't come with" Hoseok crosses his arms.
