"It's not because of you" I quickly say, seeing Jin's saddened state.

"C-can't you possibly stay any longer? I'll make sure you live comfortably here and the food's good too" Jin says, trying to convince me to stay.

He almost sold me on the food part but I shake that thought away.

"To be honest, I don't even know why you want me to stick around" I say and he quickly answers me before I could say anything else.

"Because I like you" he says with big doe eyes and a pout.

"I like you too but I want to break this curse. It's my desire" I say. It shouldn't be romance he's talking about since seriously, look at him, then look at me then look back at him. He's gorgeous.

Jin's face falls.

He blinks a few times, looking like he's thinking.

He brings out a smile.

"R-Right. You need to live your life and break that curse. I-I'll be right here for you, supporting you all the way" Jin says with a wide grin, eyes disappearing.

I give him a slight smile.

"Thank you for understanding. I promise I'll visit" I say.

"You better" Jin laughs.
"C-can I get a hug?" he shyly asks.

"Of course" I say as I approach him. He gets on his knees to give me an easy hug.

"Please please please come back" he whispers in my shoulder.
"Of course. We'll both be curse free when I get back" I say with a smile, pulling away from the hug.

I had a bit of thought after my kiss with Jin. If he couldn't break my curse, that would mean I still need to search for the most beautiful person in the world.

When he manages to get the shoes off and I'm still in my dwarf form, I'll come back and try again with that kiss. Maybe it was the shoes magic that was screwing with me.

Jin wanted to give me a carriage accompanied with a horse and too much money but I refused really quickly.

Instead, I walked away with the stuff I brought with.

"I hope you find your wish one day" I tell Jin just before I leave. I remember the first time he told me about his wish to find his true love. It's still a cute wish. That person is going to be one hell of a lucky person to land Jin.

He freezes but quickly shakes it off with a smile.

"Hopefully" he grins.

And my search continues for the most beautiful person in the world. I was feeling optimistic since I actually received a kiss this time unlike my many other fails. There was this one girl that slapped me so hard that I had a red mark on my cheek for an entire week.

I wasn't pushing myself on her or anything-before anyone gets the wrong idea...

I had an idea where I was going. I don't believe in superstition or anything but I felt like the universe was telling me something when that man asked me directions to Chateau.

So to Chateau I shall go.

Maybe I'll have some luck there...

I decide to travel through minor towns on my way to Chateau, observing people as I go.

I observe everything about a person. Their face, their physical build, the way they walk, the way they talk, everything to the colour of their teeth.

The curse has got me wondering. Is it supposed to be the most beautiful person in the world in general or the most beautiful person in the world in my eyes.
