Velerica as a grandmother

She wouldn't really know what to do.

Assuming that she is no longer prisoner of the Soul Carin, life would hit Valerica especially hard. Her cruel husband was no more than a pile of ash, her daughter was no longer a daughter of Cold Harbor as she was..and now you. You've just waltzed into her family's already hectic life and managed to sway Serena into allowing you to knock her up

She isn't as angry as she is just confused.

However these feelings would be reduced to a mild worry..that even the further subdued the very moment her daughter placed her own child in her arms.

It was all she could do not to break down and start to cry right there.

After this event, she'll take some time to herself and gather her thoughts- but she'll soon come out of it and make her desire to be a good grand mother known to both you and her daughter.

If the two of you accept, Valerica will be surprisingly grateful. She'll even start to fix up the castle, replant the gardens and fix her beloved moon dial so she can tell her grandkids about the memories her and their mother made looking at it's pretty iridescent crests.

So all in all, she wouldn't be a bad grandmother at all.
