At first Miraak is completely taken aback. Him? Cute? How does..how does he even react? He's not cute, for the love of the nine. He's a literal legendary figure, he's a dovahkiin- the first, which he'll graciously remind you of-, He's not.."cute."
Provided that the two of you are deep enough in your relationship that he is comfortable enough to take off his mask -which I'm assuming you are if you are brave enough to call him cute- you'll see him furrow his dark blonde eyebrows in confusion, undecided just how he would go about responding.
He faintly remembers, far back in time before he first donned the golden mask, many others thought he was attractive. Even after that time, women and men alike were not shy to tell the priest that he was "glorious in appearance as he was equally in majesty." Or well..maybe they just thought it, but he could practically sense it when he would gaze into their fearful yet oh so adoring eyes when they would catch him without his mask.
Even considering those memories, none had called him "cute". Surely that wasn't a fitting adjective. A newborn pup was "cute", he was not.
Eventually he just decides that words wouldn't do his emotions justice, surprisingly. So he'll scrunch his "cute" face into a scowl- rolling his abnormally glowing green eyes in disapproval.
He'll only soften up whenever you kiss him on the cheek, but don't expect too much.
"Lighten up, cutie." "Watch yourself, shulviin."
