Honestly he's terrified. He's never been one to purposefully load himself with responsibility, why do you think he wasn't guild leader? Regardless, he was scared and yet so very happy. Being a dad is a whole new, uncharted territory that he hadn't even considered until you told him of your pregnancy.

He'll ask everyone he knows how to be a good parent, often finding the only viable answers to come from Maven....and you see how her children ended up.

Thank the gods he is a quick learner.

He's really good with negotiation, so you betcha he'll be able to negate with your children. He won't be super strict no matter what, so long as it's not directly called for.

Totally considers teaching his children the "arts of thievery" necessary.

Often times will be caught singing low lullabies to his babies, holding them in his arms as he dances in the candlelit expanse of their room.

Thankfully the guild is like a big family, so everyone has a lovely role in helping you and Brynjolf out. Hence, Aunt Vex and Uncle Delvin..and Great Aunt Karliah.

In addition to thievery, he also takes to personally teaching his babes how to read and write as soon as they are the proper age. Writing has came in many ways in his lifetime, he couldn't possibly justify not granting his children the same advantage.

Encourages creativity and mischief, especially creative mischief. That's how one day you ended up receiving word that your child somehow made a guard fall into the canal. Amongst other...unseemly..incidents.
