Is genuinely freaked out by magic, mainly because the elves he fought in the war used magic more than the weapons he was trained to be prepared for.

Is absolutely littered in battle scars and calluses.

Has a decent singing voice and will happily sing for his loved ones, or if he's drunk enough.

As though he's living up to the sigil of his family/city, he has an almost insatiable appetite but has learned to suppress it during his time in the military.

Won't ever admit it but maybe it's due to his age, he has gods awful joint pain.

Gives the very best, warmest hugs in all of Skyrim.

I for some odd reason strangely Headcanon him being fairly tall, even for a nord.

Is a big softie for cheek and forehead kisses.

Spends a lot of nights awake, either strategizing his Troop's next attack or just because he's restless.

Isn't very well read but is literate, plus he likes history repeated books.

Still regrets not staying with the grey beards instead of going into war. Though the crown of high king is alluring, that crown is damn heavy.

Lives for those morning after dawns waking up next to his lover.

If he isn't at a war camp and had no pressing duties, granted he actually goes to sleep, he doesn't wake up until well after the day's peak.
