Chapter Nineteen: Strawberry

After getting everything ready to leave, both Kirishima and Elvira insisted for Bakugo go get his eye checked at the ER. Deku had tagged along as well but Bakugo didn't pay too much attention to him as the night carried on. His eye had swelled up more as the night went on but he didn't want to scare Elvira about it. Deku had gone on and on about how severe his black eye could be and Kirishima also joined in. With them both worrying about it only made Elvira worry even more. Bakugo didn't like that one bit and tried to shut the guys up before she went crazy. After a long back and forth session, Bakugo drove down to the local emergency room and as he sat in the waiting room. Elvira never left his side, not even for a moment and he would catch her staring at him. Her hand was holding onto his, fingers entwined with his.

He never gets to see her so loving out in public. Elvira is a very sexual and intimidating woman but when she's alone with him that mask goes down. This woman was always so sweet to him, never really giving him much grief unless it was something playful. He would every so often gently lift her hand to his lips and kiss the back of it. All his life he never knew he could love someone this much. He risked everything for her and will continue to do so just to see her smile. Thinking back to how ignorant he was in UA and never noticed her feelings, he was happy he had her now.

When they moved Bakugo into a hospital room, Elvira sat down at the seat across from him as they waited for a doctor. Bakugo slipped his sore hands into the pockets of his jeans and looked at Elvira as she glanced at her phone. She only looked at it for a moment before realizing he was watching her. He raised an eyebrow at her. She whispered a sorry before slipping it back into her pocket with a smile. They talked briefly before there was a knock on the door from the doctor.

"Bakugo Katsuki?" the female doctor asked as she watched through the door.

"Yup, that's me." Bakugo turned his attention away from Elvira to look at the doctor.

She was a petite woman with long black hair and blue eyes. Once she looked at Bakugo she got a little flustered as she asked him questions. Out of the corner of his eye, he watched Elvira, her eyes were locked on the doctor.

There's my jealous girl.

"Can you take off your jacket and shirt you have on? I need to check your ribs." the doctor asked as she placed her clipboard down on the counter.

Bakugo got up to slip off his jacket and tank top as the doctor instructed. His attention snapped back to Elvira who was signaling a sign to him while the doctor's back was turned. He squinted at her as she moved her index finger down with her middle finger. His good eyes widened as he recognized what it meant.

Present?

His face flustered and whispered in a hushed voice, "Are you crazy? No!"

She motioned her signal again with a smirk and Bakugo growled underneath his breath. The doctor was still doing something that had her back turned. Bakugo tugged at the top of his Jeans slightly so he flashed Elvira more of his v line. He raised an eyebrow at her, making her bite her lip with a soft giggle. Knowing full well her mind was wondering. Bakugo adjusted his pants back with a grumble.

Fucking little pervert.

Elvira looked away with a smirk as the doctor resumed examining him and her eyes never left him. From what the doctor said, Bakugo was going to be fine and he needed to take it easy for the next few days. The swelling in his eye went down a bit while the doctor treated him with a mild healing quirk. It wasn't like Recovery Girl but it relieved a little bit of the pain. Although he still walked out all fucked up and with a broken blood vessel in his left eye. A couple of bruised ribs but another too terrible so he was grateful. After a long drive back to Bakugo's apartment, he finally got Elvira settled into his room before running back out to grab the bags from the car. Kirishima had followed them back to Bakugo's apartment and helped Bakugo out. It didn't take long for Bakugo to get the bags inside the house before giving Kirishima his thanks. Kirishima offered to buy Bakugo and Elvira some food before he was going to head out. Bakugo didn't refuse because he was so tired.
