Chapter Eight: Unknown

Bakugo slowly opened his eyes with a groggy groan and rubbed his eyes. He turned his head and his cheek pressed up against the top of Elvira's head. His eyes widened for a moment, realizing that they did indeed fall asleep together. He closed his eyes for a moment, taking in a deep breath knowing she was going to be furious that he broke one of the main rules of the agreement. His eyes opened to look up at the ceiling before looking back at her sleeping face with a sigh. He looked past her head to the clock on the bedside table. It was about 4 in the morning and he figured he fell asleep for a few hours with her. He bit his lip as he looked over at her again. He rested his cheek on the top of her head again and took in her warmth.

She snores a little in her sleep.

It's kind of cute.

    He tired her out earlier and she's been knocked out ever since. He chuckled to himself because Elvira did that to him on their first night together. Elvira's hands moved in her slip and somehow ended up rubbing against his sides. His cheeks flustered as her hands wandered around more in her sleep. She started to mumble in her sleep but it was too low for Bakugo to understand. He bit his lip with a chuckle as he continued to hold her while she slept. His free hand moved to caress her shoulder, he wanted to stay like this for a bit longer but he knew he needed to wake her later on. There was a low chime coming from his phone. He turned his head to look over to the nightstand and reached his free hand to grab it without waking her. He looked at his text messages and there was one from an unknown number.

Unknown:

Have fun while it lasts.
It never does.

Bakugo squinted as he reread the message. What the fuck?

Bakugo:

I don't know who this is.
You have the wrong number, dumbass.

Unknown:

Elvira will only stay with you until she gets what she wants.

What? He bit his bottom lip with a growl underneath his breath and started to type away at the phone.

Bakugo:

Texting me on an unknown number and talking about my girl.
Fuck off.

Unknown:

She was mine long before you were even in the picture.
Remember that.

Who the fuck is this?

Bakugo:

Then why is she asleep next to me right now?

Unknown:

It's only a matter of time until she starts to push you away for getting too close.
She's always been that way.
Do you think you're the only one that's gotten close to her?
She's had multiple partners that have tried.

Bakugo:
