Chapter 10
Anna- Jane and Sam invited me out to Australia when I was finally able to make contact. I decided not to go home because my dad was there and Paris brought up to many memories of Will or Gary.
I finally was able to get a plane that would take a pregnant girl half the way across the world. I arrived in Australia and as soon as I stepped off the plane I went into labour. Sam being a doctor knew what was going on and he rushed me to their new home and delivered my baby.
“It’s a beautiful baby girl” he hands me my daughter and I hold her in my arms for the first and the last time in her little life.
“Alicia” Hunter may have forced me to have her but she is mine, she is and always will be my daughter no matter who has to raise her.
“Can I talk to you guys? I want you to take Alicia, Hunter can never know about her”
At first Anna is completely against the idea of taking my daughter away from me but its Sam who convinces her that this is the best thing to do to protect Alicia.
Over the next two days I recover quickly but I avoid Alicia because I know if I cuddle her I will find it way too hard to say goodbye when it comes time for me to leave. I know they will take care of my daughter and protect her. Anna will be the mother I can never be for Alicia.
Sam suggests we all go to the beach together. We arrive at the beach and I take I breathe in the clean sea air. We get settled on the blankets and Anna argues with me about Alicia and I end up holding my little girl in her pink flowered blanket and feeding her. I watch my daughters little eyes and she knows she is safe and she also knows that I will love her always. I hand her back to Anna and go for a long walk along the beach. The water reaches my feet cooling them from the scorching hot sun and my tears fall into the ocean. The tide carries them out burying them deep under the sand.
Anna-Jane POV
It’s been nearly an hour since Rachel took off and she hasn’t come back yet. I panic and run to the nearest life guard I can find.
“Please I need help My friend Rachel she went off an hour ago and she hasn’t come back”
“Okay Miss just stay calm where did you last see Rachel?”
“By the water please I think something bad has happened she would have come back by now”
“What’s her full name?”
“Rachel Lock head”
“Okay Miss stay here we’ll find her she probably just got lost there is a big crowd here today”
Rachel’s POV
I come running up the beach shouting and disorientated.
“They’re here they tried to kill me” I look at Anna and notice the young man standing beside her he must be a life guard. He has chocolate brown hair and what is it with me and brown eyes.
“I’m calling the police”
“No you can’t I don’t trust them, who are you?”
“Andy and I’m guessing you’re Rachel”
“Yeah, Andy can I trust you?”
“Yes” he flips his wet brown hair to the side
“Get them out of here, Anna take care of my daughter”
“You Know I will, I love you”
“Go” I watch them run with Andy and I try not to tear up and lie on the sand.
