Chapter 30
We arrive at the headquarters and are welcomed by Anna and Justin.
“Star!” Anna runs to me and I hug her careful not to hurt Leah
“Good to have you two back” Justin says patting Andy on the back.
“Justin I have some news”
“Well do tell”
“When I was there with Hunter he told me about Jenny, she drown when she was three years old I’m so sorry”
“She is in heaven with her mummy her then”
We walk into the white light and I am absolutely shocked by what I see. There are only a few people left and there is a stench of dead bodies in the air. Every person we walk past bows their head respectfully but one sticks out the most Lucas.
“Hey sis it’s good to have you back, Alicia has been talking my ear off”
“Good to be back and I don’t doubt it she is two after all”
“Who’s the little one?”
“Her name is Leah and I’m not sure who her mother is but I’m hoping to find her”
“Well we missed you, oh and you too Andy”
“Yup feeling the love” Andy mutters

“Morning angel”
“Morning” I get up out of bed and go down into the kitchen and nearly scream when I see Anna sitting there.
“Anna you scared the heart out of me”
“Sorry I brought Alicia”
“Thanks. so how you keeping?”
“Fine the baby’s due soon”
“You look good”
“I think it’s going to be a boy”
“Any names?”
“None “
“You’ll know when you see him”
“Promise me that if anything happens to me you’ll keep him safe”
“Anna where is this coming from?”
“Promise me”
“I promise”
“I trust you with my life no matter what happens protect him. Chose my baby over me”
“Anna”
“Thank you Starlet”
“Anything for you”
“I’m dating Justin”
“You’re what?”
“It happened when you where gone, he is just so nice and I think I’m falling in love with him”
“I’m so happy for you”
“I’m happy for you too”

After Anna leaves I busy myself with cleaning while Alicia is playing with her doll Roxy that Justin got her. I am about to do the dishes when she starts crying. I try to get her to come to me but she still has problems with me touching her and I know I have to go slowly with her but what gets to me is she will talk to Andy but she won’t come near me. I call her name trying to get her to come but she stops crying and collapses to the ground. I dive to catch her and she falls to the ground softly. I scream for Andy at the top of my lungs and he comes running, he comes into the room and picks Alicia up and we both run for the car.
