I wake up to a clean white room that almost blinds me. I slowly sit up and see Justin pacing in the corner of the room.

“Where’s Andy?”

“It’s okay you’re safe now and he is in the room next door still asleep”

he comes and walks over to me and then the door opens and a tall blonde haired, blue eyed woman walks into the room and she looks like a older version of me.

“Thank you Justin I will take it from here you did a good job”

I watch as Justin goes to leave the room and I know I have to find some way for him to stay I don’t trust this woman she is just giving off bad vibes and sending shivers down my back.

“No wait I want him to stay”

“As you wish”

“You said if I ever wanted to talk you’d be waiting. Your Hunter’s brother?”

“Let’s start at the beginning shall we?” I nod my head “My name is Sarah and I’m your mother and leader of the Redds everything you will see has been the result of all my hard work and organization”

“You’re my mother?”

“When I was 18 I was kidnapped by Sir Rengo or Chris Rengo. A few months later I fell pregnant with you and so I left. I ran to a bridge and that’s where I found the Redds and Dylan. I fell in love with him but your father found out and killed him leaving me control of the Redds. I left you with someone I knew I could trust Gerald was a friend. I thought he would just leave you alone but I was wrong”

Justin comes over and starts talking now as well “That’s where I come in, I’m your protector”

“Protector?”

“Starlet every gang, every criminal that exists would love to get their hands on you”

“Why are you calling me Starlet?”

“I’m sorry it’s your real name, I had to change it to keep you safe”

“Can I go home?”

“Starlet you are home sweetie”

“I mean my home”

“Starlet I’m sorry I had to leave you I had no choice. Justin will continue to keep you safe and watch over both of you”

“You can stay with us Justin, are you really his brother?”

“I am Hunter’s brother. We used to be together now were not, I came here and he went to Rengo let’s leave it at that”

Andy appears in the doorway and he runs to my side and gives me a gentle hug.

“I was so worried”

“Call me Starlet”

“What?”

“It’s my real name and this is my mother Sarah”

I watch as Andy stares at Sarah and his gaze hardens and he puts his arm protectively around me. I walk out with him and Justin follows behind us.

“Why is Justin following us?” Andy asks

“He’s my sort of my body guard and so he has to stay with us”

We reach the house and I start to feel queasy and as soon as Andy opens the door I head straight to the bathroom and manage to get to the toilet before throwing up and I look up to see both Andy and Justin looking down at me.
