Chapter 35
Starlet’s POV
I spent the night in the sand dunes and all my clothes are covered in sand. I walk over to the toilets and wash my face under the cool water, when I bring my head back up I see a man standing behind me.
“Shhh”
“HELP!” he grabs me by the hair and pushes me into the mirror. I feel the mirror shatter underneath my head.
The man grabs me by the throat and starts shaking me and I feel myself gasping for air. He releases me when two life guards come to my rescue tackling him to the ground but not before he hits me hard in the face.
One of the life guards catch me before I can fall and he carries me out into the fresh air.
“I have a young girl here who has been brutally assaulted by a man in the ladies bathroom”
The life guard starts checking my head for injuries.
“You’re one lucky girl there is no major cuts but you may have a black eye in the morning”
“What happened?” Hunter asks
“Mummy!” Alicia comes running over to me
“Sir your girlfriend was assaulted in the bathrooms.... oh good here come the cops”
The police car pulls up and MARK steps out. I get to my feet and Hunter takes Alicia.
“Miss!”
Mark chases after us until we reach the end of the pier.
“Give it up!”
I look behind me there is only water.
“Alicia sweetheart we are going to play a game on the count of three were going to jump ok?”
“No mummy”
“Daddy is right here just hold on tight”
We back up a little more
1 ............... 2 .....................................3
We jump and Alicia screams. I follow Hunter through the freezing cold water. I don’t care about anything else as long as Alicia is safe everything else is fine. We finally reach land and I take Alicia in my arms.
Andy’s POV
“OK I want two teams fox trot and echo”
The teams split up and I lead my team round to the back of the building.
“This is fox trot were in”
“Rodger that fox trot wait for us”
I kick in the door and check to make sure the halls are clear and then lead my men into the building. We kick in every door to make sure there are no prisoners. Finally we meet up with fox trot and and kick in the last door. There lying in the dirt with rats crawling around them is Lucky and Flash.
One of my men cut the restraints and help them to their feet. We are about to exit when gun shots start going off. We shoot back at them and go when the way is clear.
“What are you doing here?” I ask them
“Stan”
“He’s here”
“Yep and he is looking for you”
Lucas POV
I help Maria to her feet.
“We are not safe here Lucas”
“Who is the father?”
“Stan he raped me. Listen to me it’s not a game I don’t know much but I do know this we have to get to the white house”
“Why?”
“I don’t know”
“We need to leave”
