Chapter 24
Hunter’s POV
I’m outside waiting for Sam to hack the system so that we can open the door.
Finally after what seems like a lifetime he gets it open and leads me to my girl’s room.
I creep into her room and walk up the stairs. I find Andy lying next to her shirtless and it takes everything within me not to kill him right now. I drag him out of bed while Sam gets Ella. This will be the last time they will ever know off Starlet.
Andy’s POV
I find myself lying in the mud outside with Hunter laughing in my face.
“HUNTER! STAY AWAY FROM MY WIFE!”
“Don’t worry you’ll forget all about your little wife”
He grabs my arm and injects a black liquid into me and everything goes blank.
Starlet’s POV
I roll over in the bed expecting to hit Andy but he is not there. I run to the cot but Ella is gone too. I waste no time and bound down the stairs and the front door is lying open.
I run out of the room and feel a gush of cold air and realise the entrance is open.
I run out and see Andy in the mud cradling Alicia.
“Andy!” I throw my arms around him “I thought I lost you” I reliase something is wrong because he is silent and not moving “Andy please talk to me” I touch his face making him look at me and rub his cheek.
“Who are you?”
“Andy it’s me Starlet your wife”
“I don’t have a wife”
“Andy please it’s me, you remember me right?”
“I don’t know who you are we have never met” I try to reach for Ella but his shouting stops me in my tracks. “Get out of here, leave me and my daughter be”
“Andy please I’m your wife and Ella- Rose is our daughter”
“I don’t know who you’re but you can’t be my wife because she is dead”
“Andy I’m alive and I’m your wife”
Next thing Andy has pulled out a gun which I didn’t even know he had.
“If you don’t leave me and my daughter alone I will shoot you!”
“Andy please don’t”
I try to get closer to him and my daughter but he pushes me away and shoots into the air.
“Andy please I love you, I love you”
“Leave now or the next one goes through your heart!”
“This is far worse than getting a bullet through my heart. Andy you already have my heart you’ve had it since the day I met you it belongs to you and no one else”
“I may have your heart but you will never have mine! Leave now!”
I run back inside the building in tears. I reach my room and find Hunter waiting for me.
“What did you do?!”
“Relax sweetheart this will all be over soon”
I go to leave but Stan blocks the door while Hunter grabs me tight. Stan grabs a lamp and whacks me over the head and I fall into Hunter’s arm and into the darkness.
