the past

I walked out of the waiting room to where everyone was. “what happened to her?” Mari said as I walked into the waiting room. “Mari i.,” I was looking at the rest of the guys.

“I don’t know if she wants everyone to know” I said stoping myself. Mari sighed “just tell us andy went off some where i have known her since we were kids just blame it on me”

“I guess it was her dad…” I started then she cut me off. ”I'm calling her brother right now” she said in a fight of rage she pulled out her phone, and called a number.

“Eric! What the hell is going on!” she yelled into the phone storming out of the hospital. We all followed her out trying to calm her down. 

MARI’S POV:

I walked out yelling at Eric adds older brother. “wait slow down, what are you talking about?” he said starting “addy is in the hospital because of your low life no good drunk of a father!” I yelled into the phone.

I heard him sigh on the other end of the line then a thump like he had sat down “is she ok?” I heard the crack in his voice like he was about to cry. I clammed down just a bit. 

“Yes, Eric she’s fine really just a little beat up, remember last year that was worse then this she will be just fine” I said calming him down. “mom called me and told me dad was on his way to find her I warned her all I could, but she just hung up I didn't think he would actually do anything.”

I sighed “it's going to be ok really I will keep her safe do you want me to have her call you later?” he sighed “ill be right here I'm not letting go of my phone” his voice was cracking I know he was blaming himself. 

“Eric it's not your fault, you know that, you have always protected her it was my turn and I failed she will be here for you to talk to later I promise and Eric don't do anything stupid like last time please.”

“Bye Mari tell addy I love her and I will be waiting for her call,” I hung up and turned around there ashley, jinxx and jake were. “what?” I said still pissed off. “what do you mean last time?” jinxx said questioning her.

“Last time this happened he crushed three of her ribs she was in the hospital forever, Eric blamed himself and tried to hang himself, when addy got out she didn't know what to do so she did the same it was like a game of tag they both got better.They blamed themselves.

I promised I would keep her together I did my best but after the ribs and all she grew cold she didn't leave her room for weeks hardly ate and if he was to do it agin I don't think any amount of love could bring her out of it.” 

Ashley looked dreadful, like I had told him his dog was dead. “she’ll be fine I have seen her get through worse things ash, all of them have she will be back to her self in a day just wait” I said reassuring him.

But the truth was I don't know what would happen last time she had nightmare for weeks her depression grew worse i mean for god sakes she at one point told me she didn't want to see me ever agin.

I can only imagine what ash is feeling or andy but she's been my best friend since we where kids and I know this time she might not get up for a long time. “are you sure?” he asked chocking back tears “of course” I said trying to cheer him up.

“look ash I'm not going to lie she's not going to be herself for awhile we are all going to have to learn to help her out, last time she wouldn't sleep or eat, she went days without both because she was to scared to close her eyes i know your hurt she asked for andy but I'm just going to say it,

If you make her feel bad in anyway she wont be able to handle it, she will brake your feelings are going to have to take a back seat, if you cant handle that then you cant handle a relationship with her, and it's not going to work out.”

Everyone looked at me “Mari when you say she could brake?” jinxx started, “I mean she will try to hurt herself in some way most likely it will be permanent” they all looked down to scared to say anything. 

“Why are you all silent?” I asked trying to make one of them talk. “she has become like a sister to us, it's not only andy and ashley who love her we all do me and jinxx” jake said speaking up for them all.
