where now?

she's going to be ok she’s going to be ok, she’s going to be ok. was on repeat in my head almost like i didn't believe the words, like for a moment i had thought she was gone, and i would be left here without her without the love of my life i mean i couldn't think of anything worse. 

“so do they know exactly whats wrong?” i almost chocked on the words, “i don't know we will have to ask” jake said comforting all of us. “so we wanted to know the condition of our friend what her test results where?” 

jake said walking up to the desk. “i’m sorry we can only disclose that information to family.” the woman said in a kind steady voice. all of us looked at echother then mari sighed “i’m her adopted sister i need to know what is wrong with her” 

the woman looked at somethings then said “her doctor will come talk to you shortly.” we walked away from the desk. “mari what was…” jake started “fine ok after seventh grade i ran away from my family addy convinced her mom to let me live with them and it wasn't intill last year that my mom decided to make me go live with them agin but technically I'm adopted by her family.” 

every one of us looked from one to another, now that i thought about it i had never heard anything about her past only addy’s and they seemed to know everything about echother almost like they shared a brain.

once this is over I'm going to make it my job to get to know mari, after all if addy loves her then we have to be friends. “you never talk about your family life” jake said quietly in her ear, i could hardly hear him say it. 

“yeah thats because i don't like to addy is the only one i have ever talked to and i need her” mari said looking at the ground, her eyes could have burned a hole in the ground if she focused just a bit more i swear. 

“are you mari,addy’s sister?” a doctor said coming up to us, “yeah whats wrong with her?” mari said looking up almost in tears agin. “she suffered a concussion and a bad broken arm, she has scares and bruises, but mostly after some rest i think she should be fine.

“so when will she be released?” the hope in mari’s voice cut through me. “well if she does well tonight i would say tomorrow but she needs to go home, i don't think she should go back on tour with your band” he said looking at andy, jake jinxx, cc and I.

“thank you” mari said as the doctor left walking down a hallway. “i need to call her brother.” mari said sighing. “here let me do it” i said putting my hand on her back. she smiled at me “thank you” i shook my head then took her phone and got up the contact.

“hey mari how is she?” “its not mari this is ashley.” “oh the boyfriend” Eric said cutting me off. i let out a slight breath of air almost a laugh. “yeah the boyfriend, listen addy should be ok, the doctor said it was nothing to bad and all she needs is rest but he wants her off tour, so mari wanted to know what you think she should do.”

Eric sighed, “look if it was easy for our dad to go to a different state and do this i think her coming back to town wouldn’t be the best move,maybe ask mari about seeing if she could stay with her and her parents.”

i tapped mari on the shoulder and pulled her away from everyone. “me and eric are talking maybe having her so close to their dad wouldn't be a good idea, do you think asking your mom and dad if you two could stay with them?” 

mari shook her head “ill ask but if I'm being honest i don't know.” “we will call you back in a second ok?” i asked “yeah just don't forget to tell me whats happening.” eric said hanging up.

i handed back mari’s phone and she called her mom. 

MARI’S POV: 

i sighed and dialed my mom’s number i really hope she's in a good mood today. “hey mari how are you hows the tour been?” my mom’s cheerful voice said answering. 

i was still on the verge of tears. “mom” my voice cracked. “i need you please i just nee this one thing from you if you love me you will say yes.” my mom went silent. “are you ok? are you hurt?” 

i could almost forget how much of a crap mother she was with the worry i could hear in her voice. “no mom I'm not hurt but addy is…” my mom cut me off “was it that no good dad of hers?” i took in a deep breath. 

“yeah, she's  in the hospital and well eric and i don't think we should take her back to live with him cuz his house is almost down the street from their dad’s, she cant stay on tour, they said she needs rest and mom…” i was trying to find the words. 

“i need this from you i didn't bother you or ask you for anything for almost five years, i need this one favor, please… could you see if maybe me and addy could stay with you and dad for awhile?”
