Chapter Fifteen - Battle Simulations! Part 2!
~
As they situated themselves into different rooms, Abby checked the watch on her wrist. Well, it didn't really look like a watch since it was a flat-screen built into the small gauntlet/bracelet. As she lightly pressed the screen, she watched it come to life and pull up a browser. Alright, what animal would be useful to use right now? Since I can only use five animals throughout the day, it would be wise to think about what I could use in the other battles too. She became lost in thought as she continued to replay the events about to unfold.
Kayla walked around the room she was in with a frown. She wanted to fight. It sucked having to wait to be on a team. All she needed was for someone to find her, then she could start kicking some ass! But All Might never said I couldn't find them, The thought struck her as she grinned devilishly.
Just as she walked out of the room, Bakugo snarled at her since she almost ran into him, "Outta my way extra-"
"Kayla has joined the villain team! Abby joins the heroes by default!"
Huh, that easy? Kayla thought as her earpiece switched channels, connecting with Bakugo and Iida's. "Looks like we're on the same team, eh?" She said with a grin, shrugging her shoulders.
"Just stay out of my damn way! Go find four-eyes!" He seethed, stomping the rest of the way down the hallway.
Her brows creased as a frown tugged at her lips. "Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed." But she didn't follow his order and followed behind him once he was a little further down the hallway. "As if I'd listen to an angry hedgehog,"
Abby nearly choked as All Might's booming voice crackled through her earpiece. She fixed her mask as she began to leave the room she was in, stopping when her earpiece made a sound. Alright, so now I need to find Midoriya and Ururaka. Just before she could, Midoriya's voice was in her ear.
"Abby? Where are you?" He asked. He waited for a few moments, then turned to look at the brown-haired girl beside him with a raised eyebrow. Why wasn't she answering?
Ururaka frowned slightly at no answer, then Midoriya remembered. "She can't speak." He said, his eyes widening as he realized. How inconsiderate! He'd have to apologize for it later.
Abby stood in the room, not being able to help the little smile at his slip-up. She shook her head as she closed her eyes, hearing MIdoriya apologize frantically with Ururaka giggling in the background. Alright, focus now Abby. You've got to find them before Bakugo does. She opened her eyes and began to crawl onto the wall, making her way to the ceiling. Fighting hand-to-hand wasn't necessarily a weak point, but she did better with stealth on her side. As she made her way toward her teammates, she couldn't help but wonder, Would I even be able to help?
Just as Bakugo rounded the corner, ready to implode on the two aspiring heroes, Kayla came around the corner too. He didn't let her stop him from blasting them, or mostly Midoriya.
"Hey hey, that wasn't really nice Bakugo!" Kayla said, though was ignored as he seethed at Midoriya. It was evident he was ignoring her, or really didn't know she was there. Or he didn't care.
He stalked toward Midoriya with bared teeth. "Damnit Deku, don't dodge me!" then he pulled another move, one that wasn't in the anime. It was surprising, and Kayla wondered what else could change. A few small explosions emit from his palm before he swiped at him again, only to be pulled back by another force. The explosion went through the ceiling as Bakugo's anger flared. "What the hell!?"
