Chapter Three - White Lies

"She's lying."

~

After the events on the street, Toshinori called Tsukauchi for help.

After all, who knew how to react to what just happened?

The girl he'd talked to suddenly fainted. He couldn't just transform into All Might in the middle of the street, what if someone saw him!?

So now here he is in the police station, the girl laying on a couch, trying to explain to Tsukauchi what happened.

"So what you're saying is she looked at you," he paused and turned to look at his friend, "then fainted?" He asked.

The blonde male could only nod in response.

A long pause ensued after the conversation, and neither knew what to do.

"Do you think she's a missing person?" Tsukauchi asked.

The blonde man could only give a helpless shrug. He knew nothing about the female laying on the couch.

After a moment, a sigh caught his attention as he turned to his friend.

"I'll have someone search for missing persons in the last week and, maybe, if we're lucky, she'll pop up somewhere."

As Tsukauchi walked away, Toshinori felt the cushions of the couch shift. He turned to look and saw the girl slowly sit up.

She looked groggy and tired. "What happened?" She asked.

Relieved she was awake, he turned toward her and gave a small smile. "You were walking around looking confused, then after you saw me, you fainted." He explained softly. He was afraid she might faint again, so he kept a good eye on her.

She contemplated this before rubbing her temples. "I remember now," she said as she looked at him. She had a softer look on her face. "Sorry for fainting on you."

Toshinori only smiled at her before Tsukauchi came back, shaking his head.

"There's no missing persons file that looks like her," he sighed, then raised his head and saw her staring at him. "Oh, you're awake." He cleared his throat.

Giving a nervous smile, she nodded and started playing with her fingers.

"Can you tell us what happened? Where were you before meeting Toshinori?" Asked the detective.

She clasped her hands in her lap and stared at the ground, knitting her eyebrows in thought. I can't very well tell them that I randomly woke up in a park. They'd probably not believe me. As she came up with a story in her head, Tsukaushi and Toshinori glanced at each other.

"I was supposed to meet a friend outside an airport." She finally stated.

Tsukaushi quickly scribbled down what she said on a pad of paper. "Where did you fly in from?"

"America."

After the interrogation, Tsukaushi and Toshinori walked a few yards away to discuss her story.

"She's lying." Said Tsukauchi.

Toshinori glanced back and took in her appearance. She looked innocent enough, but he knew looks could be deceiving. "But why would she lie?"

Shaking his head, the detective sighed and looked over the paper. "I don't know. We're not even sure her name is right, nor her age."

"What do we have down?"

"So far we have her name, age, date of birth, where she's from, and the story she told us. We still have no idea what her quirk is," he sighed, then looked toward the girl, "but we can't be sure everything she said was the truth."

Toshinori looked to her too, only to see her happily petting one of the police dogs.

"She seems so innocent," he murmured, turning to his friend, "do you think she could be a villain?"

His dark-haired companion also watched her, a conflicted look in his eyes. "I don't know for sure,"

After the police dog was taken by his deputy, the girl sat on the couch and looked around. Both observed her as she seemed to look at everything with a weird look.

They looked at each other before looking at their notes. "We should ask more questions. Maybe we can find out more about her. Her quirk may have something to do with touch."

Toshinori turned to look at the girl, but only found an empty couch. "I think that'll be a little difficult."

"Why do you say that?" Tsukauchi glanced at his companion with a furrowed brow.

"She's gone." He pointed.

Both stood for a few moments before running outside to find her.

~

Abi looked around at her new surroundings. "Welp, I'm lost."

Maybe following that scent was a bad idea, now I can't figure out where I am.

She turned to look at the buildings and found that the sky started to darken. "Okay, so, that's bad." Putting her hands together, she set them against her lips.

Why am I here? How did I get here?

Am I the only one?

I'm scared.

Author's Note: I APOLOGIZE! I know I've been sucky at updates, but I promise I'm trying. I need to refresh my memory on MHA since I haven't watched it in a while, nor read the manga (I'm trying, I swear.).

Please enjoy this chapter! I will try to update sometime again this week!
