The day after party is always rough, and jay and Ivy felt it when they woke up.  "Ughhhhhh" Ivy groaned while rolling out of bed, literally.  Jay laughed but felt the exact same way, they went by their usual morning routine and headed to work.

"Someones had a rough night..." hailey said while noticing jay trudging up the stairs.  She had dealt with hungover jay before and he done nothing but complain.  Ivy peeped out from behind jay, "oh god not you too" hailey said while staring at Ivy who looked like death, but the pretty kind.  The couple laughed and headed to their desks with their extra strong coffee in hand.

Hank strolled into the bullpen looking very determined, "we got a possible location on yates, gear up now" Hank said sounding ready for business. The team wasted no time and they loaded the guns, got their vests on and headed out into their cars.

"Halstead, Upton take the back" Hank said before the partners ran off sneakily. "Kate, Dawson you're coming in" Hank said. Jays face screwed up at voights decision but left it since it was Ivys job and doing risky things came along with it. "On my order" Hank said before kicking the door down to a tall house. "Move in" he said to Ivy and antonio.

The rest of the unit were covering them in case movement happened and they couldn't see, "cover me" Ivy said quietly towards Antonio before heading upstairs. The partners made their way upstairs while Hank guarded the door, Ivy signalled her hands to her eyes then to a door down the hall which was the only room with a light on.

"We're going in" Ivy said into her phone. Jay squirmed at the thought of her going into somewhere that could kill her but he had to let her work so once again he left it. "Be careful" Hank said back sounding slightly worried.

She carefully crept towards to door with her gun held out in front of her, Antonio followed right behind her. "On my count" Ivy said while getting in position to open the door. "3...2...1..." she whispered before opening the heavy wooden door and stepping inside cautiously. Antonio went to follow her in but before he could step foot in the room the door slammed shut in his face.

Antonio jumped back startled by the bang the door made when it closed, inside the room Ivy jumped at the bang too.  She quickly scanned the room to check for people, it was just a small boxed room, 4 walls, 2 windows and no closets.  No one was with her, her face grew wide in fear.  In the middle of the room of the room was a medium sized device that looked a lot like a bomb, it had wires connected to it than ran along the floors and walls.  The wires stopped at the doors and windows, it was all connected.

Downstairs and outside the rest of the unit heard the bang and it scared them, "kate, Dawson what the hell was that?" Hank said from the bottom of the stairs.  Antonio ran back to the end of the hall and looked at his boss over the railing, "the house is clear but she's locked in a room, the door slammed shut behind her" Antonio said while catching his breath back.  Hank quickly opened the front door and yelled for everyone to gather around, "no one key your radios, the house is rigged" Hank said sternly.

Jay grew worried realising Ivy hadn't come back out, "Sarge where is she?" He said frantically.  Hank seemed calm but looked around at the unit, "the door sealed shut behind her, she's in the room at the end of the..." he started but was cut off by music blasting from the house. Loud opera music was blasting from the top floor, everyone turned to look in that direction as Antonio ran downstairs. "Sarge the place is booby trapped" he said with a worried look. "This is Sargent Voight from intelligence, I need bomb squad to our location now!" Hank shouted into his radio.

Jay rubbed his hand over his mouth, he wanted to key his radio to see if she was okay but he didn't wanna risk setting anything else off. Jay went to make his way into the house but hailey stopped him, "no way. It's too dangerous, for you and for her..." hailey talked some sense into him. Jay sighed and ruffled his hair, he began to stress thinking she wasn't going to make it out. Hank left with Antonio but before they could get into the house jay stopped them, "Sarge I'm coming" jay said not wanting to hear a no.

Hank realised it would put jays mind at ease slightly and agreed, the trio made their way upstairs being mindful of their surroundings, they slowly walked over to the door and as they did the opera music from the speakers cut out. "Ivy? You okay?" Hank said concerned. "Yeah, I'm good Sarge but there's a bomb" Ivy shouted back while staying still. Jays face dropped, "what about the doors? Can we bust them down?" Antonio said while scanning the hall for something to knock the door down with. There was a pause before she answered, "no, no you can't the wires are hooked up to it..." she sighed. Jay looked at Hank and huffed in worry. "What about the windows?" Jay shouted out.

"it's hooked up to them too..." she said sounding lost. The trio stood there for a minute or two trying to gather their thoughts but as they went to speak, the opera music blasted through the speakers again. They all jumped back startled, "Sarge it's on a timer, it stops and starts when the music does!" She shouted back trying to be heard over the music. The trio sighed and left the house again, they knew they could key their radios now since it wasn't connected that way.

"Where's the bomb squad?!" Hank shouted to the unit trying to be heard over the music. "10 minutes out Sarge..." Kevin answered sounding hopeless. Hank thought for a moment and turned to the unit, "anyone know opera?" Hank said which sounded stupid. "Yeah, why?" Kim said which made the trio sigh in relief. "How longs this song?" Hank said while listening to it. Kim thought for a moment "uh it's habanera so about 4 minutes ish?" She answered not knowing how it would help. Hank and jay shot each other worried glances before explaining to the team. "Ivy said there's a bomb hooked up to the door and windows, it's on a timer which stops and starts when the music does so I'm assuming when the music finishes the bombs gonna go off. That means bomb squad won't make it in time..." Hank sighed in frustration.

Jay began to worry, he was not going to lose the love of his life today and he was sure of it. Even if it meant sacrificing his own life, if that was even possible.
