2 weeks later - Natalie and wills wedding day

Ivy and jay woke up early, they had to go their separate ways for the morning since they couldn't see each other until the ceremony.  "See you at the church, I love you" Ivy said while hopping in the limousine that contained the excited bridesmaids.  Jay smiled "I love you too" he said as he waved them off.  A few minutes later will arrived in his SUV to pick up jay, "you ready?" Jay questioned Will as they drove to the reception.  Will looked nervous but he was ready to take on the next chapter in his life, "I hope so" he doubted himself.  Jay laughed, "you'll be fine" he said while checking his phone.

The girls arrived to the reception but went straight to the changing rooms and got into their robes that had their role and name on the back. They all got their hair and makeup done, the bridesmaids left to go change in another room. It was now just the seamstress, Nat and Ivy in the larger room. As the maid of honour, she got to help dress the bride. Ivy got changed first then she helped the seamstress zip up jays dress. When they were done the bridesmaids joined them again, they took some pictures and made each other feel beautiful. "Are you ready Nat?" Maggie said making sure she wasn't stressing. Nat nodded her head, "I can't wait" she replied nervously yet happily.

At the church the boys were waiting in their suits, they made sure the ceremony would go smoothly as the guests started to fill the Church. Around 10 minutes later the brides car and bridesmaids had arrived, of course Nat had to wait before going in but she didn't mind since she was about to marry the love of her life. "You're gonna shine in there, I love you" Ivy said while hugging Nat one last time.

The bridesmaids had started walking down the aisle to the music with bouquets in their hands, Ivy was last since she was the maid of honour and jay immediately looked at her in awe and admiration. The couple smiled at each other as they took their places, the groomsmen on wills side and the bridesmaids waiting for Nat to join them. The flower girl made her way down the aisle, it was natalies 4 year old niece, she stumbled along the carpet throwing clumps of rose petals on the floor.

The bridal song started to play on organ pipes, it was a long church so they could only see nats silhouette from the door. She began to walk down the aisle with her dad interlinking their arms. As she got closer they could all see how stunning she looked, once she made it to Will the music stopped playing. The ceremony went smooth, Owen was the ring bearer so that supplied some laughs. When it got to the kissing part everyone stayed quiet hoping no one would object, "you may now kiss the bride" the priest said religiously. There was a huge cheer from the crowd, jay and Ivy shared grateful and happy glances hoping it would be them one day.

As Nat and Will walked down the aisle, the groomsmen and bridesmaids followed suit with their assigned partners. Of course Ivy and jay were together so they walked behind the newly married couple with their hands locked onto each other's. They drove to the after party in their cars, "you look beautiful" jay complimented Ivy. She blushed and took his hand, "not so bad yourself" she said in her usual humour.

Once they arrived at the after party they got their pictures took professionally and then made their way inside to party. It was a long evening of dancing and drinking, the couple made their vows and toasted to their new life. The meals were beautiful and it was perfect.

"Ivy put down the wine and get over here!" Natalie said into the mic as she was stood on a chair ready to throw the bouquet of flowers over her head. Jay and the boys all laughed as Ivy took off her heels and ran over to the group of girls on the dance floor. Jay watched her in awe, "3...2...1..." Will counted down into the mic he had. After the count of 1 Natalie threw the bouquet of flowers over her head in hopes one of the girls would catch it.

The crowd watched the flowers fall in slow motion, at first it looked like Maggie was going to catch it but then it fell to the side of her and landed in Ivys hands. No one knew who caught it until Ivy threw her hands in the air and turned to face the stage where the boys were stood, there was a huge cheer from the crowd and jay smiled noticing his girlfriend had caught it. Will nudged jays arm, "your turn next" he teased his brother. Jay smiled widely knowing someday it would happen, Ivy slipped her heels back on and met Natalie before walking back over to the halsteads. "Let's get some more wine!" Ivy said clearly already tipsy, Natalie wasn't much more sober so the boys laughed and agreed to get drunk.

Natalie and Will had the first dance, their slow dance. The guests watched and recorded the special moment whereas jay Stood behind Ivy with his hands around her waist and holding her hands admiring the whole wedding situation. Ivy embraced the hug and rested the back of her head on his chest. Once Natalie and wills slow dance was done, another slow song played and all of the couples in the room, along with some kids joined the dance floor to slow dance too. Jay and Ivy stood next to the newly married couple and cherished their first slow dance together while looking into each other's crystal eyes.

The moment of love was interrupted by a more upbeat song which sounded throughout the speakers, the DJ got the part going. Ivy picked up Owen and danced around with him, she had a few more wine glasses and jay had a few more beers. By the end of the night most of not all adults were drunk. It wasn't safe for any of them to drive home so they all got cabs back.

Jay and Ivy made it home safely and they stumbled into his apartment, "come onnnnnn" Ivy said while pulling jay to their room.
