The couple woke up bright and early, they stayed in bed and held each other for a little while before being interrupted by jays alarm. Ivy climbed out of bed and got a shower since she was going dress shopping later, jay didn't bother since he had time to get one after work. She walked out in her towel and got changed, jay was already changed and ready so he just watched her. "You ready?" He said while she was tying up her boots. She smiled and stood up, "ready" she confirmed.

They grabbed their badges and guns then left to go to work, when they got there trudy smiled and waved. They made their way into the bullpen and listened to their morning briefing. Once Hank had stopped talking they all sat down at their own desks and cracked on with their work.

The day was moving fast but they still hadn't really got anything major on yates location or his next target. They still didn't even really know his motive, all they had found the whole day was a possible foot print but once they looked into it further it wasn't yates, just some accidental murder downtown.

It got till around 6pm and the unit were done for the day, "alright head out guys, see you all tomorrow" Hank said slightly defeated. The team nodded and grabbed their belongings from the locker room, Ivy checked her phone, she had 15 minutes to get to the bridal shop and meet Natalie and the other bridesmaids, "come on I'll drop you off" jay said while standing at the door. Ivy smiled and followed him out, she made sure she was wearing a strapless bra and nude underwear so she would be able to see how she looked in the dresses.

They arrived to the boutique in time and the girls were all stood in the reception area waiting for her, she looked at jay before getting out of the car, "see you later, I love you" she said before giving him a cheeky peck on the lips. Jay laughed and watched her walk into the bridal shop before driving away to meet Will and the boys at mollys.

Ivy was greeted with a warm hug from Natalie, "there she is" she said while smiling at Ivy. The rest of the bridesmaids all said hello as Ivy recognised most of them; Maggie, dorris, April, and a few of Natalies close friends she vaguely knew of.

One of the consultants lead them all into their own booth over in the corner, it had a long circular couch and in front of it there was a long catwalk for the brides and bridesmaids to walk along.  "Welcome to the bridal boutique, my names Sarah and I'll be your consultant today. Who's my lucky bride?" She said cheerily.  Natalie excitedly raised her hand and they all laughed, "perfect! If you would all follow me, I'll show you to the dresses, you can leave your belongings on the couch" Sarah said sweetly.

Once they got into a big storage room where all of the dresses were kept the girls all cooed in awe, there was various styles and colours everywhere.  Natalie picked out some dresses that she liked but she also let the bridesmaids and Ivy pick out a dress for her to try on.  "Okay this is great! If you could follow me Natalie we can start the fitting straight away" Sarah said while leading Natalie away.

The girls stayed in the dress room for a few more seconds to take it all in, "woah" Ivy said which made them all laugh.  They made their way back to the couch and waited a while for Natalie to come out in her first dress. Their conversation was interrupted by Natalie walking out in a beautiful ball gown, she looked stunning. "Wow Nat, you're like a princess" Ivy said in awe, all the girls agreed and they loved how she looked but the dress just didn't have that wow factor that they were all looking for. Natalie decided it was a no so she walked back into the changing room to try on the next dress.

They had been in the shop for around 1 and a half hours and Nat had tried on all of the dresses that she and the bridesmaids had picked out, she walked back into the changing room one last time feeling slightly down since all of the dresses she had tried on didn't feel like her dress.
