Our story, our life

*one years later*

          "Open wide..." jay said while putting a spoonful of food into tia's mouth.  Ivy was stood ironing some clothes and smiling at her family, "you know you're wearing more of that then she is" Ivy laughed at the mess jay had made.  Jay looked down to his shirt and saw the stains, "oh god" he said with a smile.  She stood smiling at jay and Gia as he cradled her in his arms, "what?" He said with a smile.  Ivy laughed and walked over to them both, "nothing, I just love you two" she said while rubbing their daughters cheek.  Tia laughed and grabbed jays hand, "this is our story, our life. I'm happy we're together" she said with a smiled before hugging jay and staying there as tia began to fall asleep.

            Jay smiled and kissed her in the forehead, they had a beautiful marriage, a stunning house and a perfect daughter along with two playful husky's who kept them busy.  Not to forget they still worked in the unit, everyone was so tightly packed as a family that nothing bad would ever happen again, no one was guaranteed tomorrow and they all knew that.  They had even welcome officer rojas to the team and she got along really well with them, she was a great asset, "let's get her to bed" jay said as he placed tia in her crib. 

            The pair stood watching their sleeping daughter in awe, they couldn't have been more perfect for each other and they knew it.  Without Ivy calling in the body all that time ago, she would have never met jay and none of this magic would've happened.  It's fair to say that she was no longer living that simple life...
