Two weeks have gone by, and Cate has started to get close to her new friends, the Avengers. Her and Peter tend to play video games after diner when he's at the tower. Her and Thor like to joke around as Cate cooks. And Tony, Bruce and Cate always seem to talk about their medical stories. Natasha, Steve and Cate liked to play cards and have a drink after Cate's work is done at the hospital. As for Loki, they bickered alot since he was always pranking and annoying her. But at the same time, even though he got on her nerves sometimes, she still appreciated their friendship. The nights she didn't sleep, which is most nights, he'd usually accompany her, quietly or not, in whatever it was she would do on that given night. Sometimes she would just sit out on the balcony and read, and he'd join and read as well. She could be sitting in the living room knitting, and he would lay on the sofa next to her throwing things and catching them as they fall, all the while talking to her about Asgard. Truth is, they talked alot and she felt he was a real friend. The few days she wouldn't be at the compound, at least one of them would text her to make sure she was alright, and she really appreciated that gesture.

This week is the week she will start training. She had a week of vacation from her job therefore she figured it was the best time to start her training. Thor had happily volunteered for her first lessons. The last weeks haven't been very sunny, so she never really got a chance to work with the sun's energy yet. Everytime it did shine, she happened to be at work. How inconvenient. But this morning it was a beautiful clear sky and the sun was shining down on NYC. When Cate awoke from her long 2 hours of sleep she managed to get, she had a big smile in her lips as she saw the sun peak through her lilac draped windows. She took the blankets off of her and got out of bed. Cate walked towards the balcony doors, opened them and stepped out onto the cement surface. As she reached the railing, she layed both hands on it, closed her eyes and let the sun sink in. The mornings where she could absorb the energy of the sun were now her favorite part of the day. She was so concentrated on how good the sun felt, she never heard Steve knocking on her door. He peaked inside to make sure she was decent before stepping in. He was leaning against her doorframe in a red t-shirt and blue denim jeans. As he saw her soaking in the sun, he smiled.

"Good morning miss."

Cate jumped out in surprise and turned to look over to see Steve. Her violet eyes slowly started to turn back to their original hazel color.

"Oh my God Cap! You scared the shit out of me!"

"Language young lady." He said smiling at her.

"Oh C'mon that's not a bad word! How'd you sleep?" She asks him as she walks toward the vanity desk to grab her hairbrush.

"I slept quite alright how about you?" He says as he walks into her bedroom and sits on the bench at the bottom of her bed.

"Well I slept a little more then I usually do, so victory!" She laughs out as she brushes her long brown hair into a high ponytail.

"I know you're training with Thor today, but would you like to go for a run with me this morning. Consider it like a pre-work out exercise." He jokingly says. She smiles and says she'd love to as she fumbles in her drawers to pick a large grey t-shirt and some yoga pants she had brought over from her place.

"Perfect. So I shall see you in the hall after you've dressed. Then we could have breakfast with everyone."

"Sounds like a solid plan Captain." She said saluting the soldier with her right hand. He walks away laughing.

Meanwhile, Natasha and Thor are in the kitchen having coffee and strawberry pop tarts. Steve walks in the open space, smiling.

"Morning Nat. Thor. How y'all doing this morning?"
